Description:

This mod is about Role-playing.
In the original game, you have two blunt and illogical options to finish the quest Waking Nightmare, blunt dialogue by Daedric Prince, which clearly tells you what is what in your face, and bad, or dull, finishing of the quest.

This mod allows you to obtain the Skull of Corruption, without attacking Erandur, being a Good Alignment Character.

This mod subtly changes the dialog of the Daedric Prince Vaermina, as it should be.

You've made your choice when decided to help the unknown priest. He seems to know too much about the Daedric Prince Vaermina, while claiming that he is a priest of Mara, but you still choose to go with him. Later, you discover, that he is, in fact, a traitor priest of Vaermina, who claims now, that he wants to end her influence over the people of Dawnstar. You believe him still, but much lesser than before. Traitor priest leads you to the Skull of Corruption, perfectly knowing the way. He demands from you to drink a dangerous reality-shifting drug elixir, called the Vaermina's Torpor, while claiming that Torpor will not work for him. You have no choice rather than to believe his words. You survive this experience. On the way to the Skull, you encounter his friends from the Vaermina's priesthood times of his, who confirm the truth about him being the priest of the Daedric Prince. They attack both of you because of him and you have no choice rather than to protect yourself. At this point, you know the next information: he was indeed a priest of the Daedric Prince Vaermina, he knows everything about the temple of Vaermina, and that he claims, by his own words, that he is a priest of Mara. You have no reason to believe his words.

Erandur walks to the pedestal of the Skull of Corruption, saying: "It's time. The Skull must be destroyed. If you'll stand back, I'll perform the ritual...".
You have no reason to believe him.
Erandur lifts the barrier from the Skull, and at the same time you hear the voice of the Daedric Price Vaermina: "He's deceiving you. When the ritual's complete, the Skull will be free and then Erandur will turn on you.".
Erandur starts the ritual, lighting up the room with the deep red glow of the ritual spell.
You must to make a choice. Believe the traitor priest, or take the Skull, while the barrier is lifted. You also can kill the priest, but this is unnecessary. Decision is clear. You can take the Skull and carry it away from this place, lifting the curse by this deed. You take the Skull, claiming it for being under your vigil. The traitor priest attacks you immediately.
