I'll get straight to the point and give you the traditional little RP blurb at the end.  I dislike mod posts that aren't straight to the point.  Put bluntly I made a rough preset for the FFVII extra terrestrial creature, Jenova.  I say it's a rough preset because I would like to expand on it but there are certain limitations (Namely that is has to conform to Skyrim limits and the limits of the mods I have).  I would love to make it more closely resemble a mobile version of the abomination that it was in FFVII, complete with eyeballs where they shouldn't be, external organs, etc.  But I'm not aware of any mods that allow for that atm.  So it's basically a blue skinned woman with silvery hair that partially obscures the left eye, with both eyes being reddish in color.  (Source material made it unclear if she actually had a (proper) left eye or not as it was always completely obscured.

I also made an effort to mimic her most scene facial expression, a very vague smile.  Trying to nail it exactly took a fair bit of time.  I intend to expand on this and make her a bit more alien and more closely match her proper appearance, so mod recommendations (or mods any of you want to create) on how to do that would be appreciated as would any advice.

Armor is from Draconic Bloodline and was chosen at random for the pic.  Jenova didn't really wear clothes but instead had a few apparatuses attached.  Couldn't find anything I felt resembled it enough to justify downloading for a picture.

Mods I recommend would obviously be most FFVII things.  In particular I'd recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2858 which is the Masamune sword used by Jenova's "son" Sephiroth.  Jenova was known to use it at times, and to those of you familiar with the lore know she used it at one of the most critical times within the game.  On a similiar note I also recommend Sephiroth Animations https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71405.  It will make two handed sword play/stances more like Sephiroth's.  Requires Fnis PCEA if I recall.

I also recommend any mod that allows you to spread disease/enslave the populace/transform them into monsters.  That's essentially what she's all about.  And I'd like recommendations on that if you have any to offer.


Now for some basic lore and the questions/idea/rp that inspired this little of a preset.

      In the world of FFVII, Jenova was an extraterrestrial entity that crashed into the planet Gaia.  It was referred to as the calamity of the skies.  It infected people with its own genetic material turning them into monsters.  Eventually that genetic material would be called via the reunion instinct and all bearing her DNA would reunite into a singular being.  Jenova's preferred tactic was to absorb the memories and form of the fallen so she could pose as loved ones to get close to her enemies and infect them.  Her ultimate goal was to consume all life on the planet and the very life of the planet itself, essentially being a parasite on a planetary scale.  Following that she would use the planet as a vessel to travel through the cosmos searching for another life bearing planet.  If you played FFVII you know how Jenova's story goes from here.
But FFVII was vague on a very specific detail about Jenova, her origin.  She came from space.  That's all that's ever given.  Does she have a home planet, and are their more of her kind?  And what worlds did she doom to death before coming to Gaia?  In the realm of the elder scrolls, a meteorite has crashed.  Jenova has landed in Skyrim.  In this critical time where the dragonborn is most needed against Alduin, they become the first victim of Jenova, who absorbs the power and memories of the dragonborn, and poses as the hero the world needs.  But she isn't the hero, she's the monster none of them are prepared for.  Neither Dragon, nor elf, nor Daedra.  Her knowledge great, goals devious, and state of being incomprehensible.  Does she even count as a living being?  Is she truly sapient or just driven by parasitic instinct?  Do the allies and followers she makes in Skyrim follow her because they think she is a hero or is it because they are unknowingly infected and being driven by her will?  The most alien threat.
