About this mod

Mages and Noblemen should not have to walk around in faded, dirty clothes!

Permissions and credits
Noblemen and mages don't walk around all day covered in mud and wearing faded, threadbare garments. This was one of my main grievances about the visual aspect of the game - everything was so colourless and dirty. This was especially apparent when he had to wear a particular outfit to advertise its tailor - some advertisement in dirty, faded clothes! Therefore, my mage boy got some new, clean threads.

All my clothing retextures are now found here, all in one place for easy access, and easy for me to update.

Posh Clothes:
Noblemen and mages don't walk around all day covered in mud and wearing faded,
threadbare garments. This was one of my main grievances about the visual
aspect of the game - everything was so colourless and dirty. This was
especially apparent when he had to wear a particular outfit to advertise
its tailor - some advertisement in dirty, faded clothes! Therefore, my
mage boy got some new, clean threads.

Long robes work for both genders, as male and female meshes use the same texture.

Shiny, Glowy Circlets:

This is a very simple tweak to add glow and more shiny properties to the
circlet meshes. These will work with vanilla or any circlet texture
replacers. Because everyone loves shiny bling, right? Shinyitis!

Iridescent Greybeard Robes:
Ooh shiny - greybeards don't have to wear grey! I wanted a more
otherworldly, pale look for their robes, considering that they live in a
snowy part of Skyrim (what part isn't cold and snowy to some degree?). I
retextured the robes to be much paler and with a hint of colour and
more fur, then added iridescent properties to the meshes to make them
look like leather over fur for extra warmth.
This is a simple mesh and texture replacer and should have no impact on gameplay or saves at
all. Both male and female robes, shoes and hoods are included.

Vampire Stuff:
This is a simple retexture of the basic vampire robes and a little tweak of
the Bloodstone Chalice that I did for myself. Robes come in green, red
and blue with lots of black and feature an ankh design (symbol of
immortality). All textures come with matching normal maps.

July 2019: All robes and clothes now done. Male and female. Common clothes
given a more goth feel in red and black. Grey parts redone to green.

The Bloodstone Chalice is now gold and silver with a blue iridescent sheen.
I did this to go with plans I had for my Basil character to clean up
Volkihar Castle after he finished Dawnguard and moved in. Use or not, to
taste.

Brighter Guards:
Just a little retexture job to brighten up the town guards. Each town and
village's guards now have brighter cloth sashes with more colour and
less dirt. Each also has a small touch of tartan at the ends of the
sash.

July 2019: Male and female guards now done and should match.

Posh College Robes:
I started playing Skyrim again and as usual, I installed my posh pack
replacer. Then, decided I really didn't like the college robes I'd done!
As I am trying this year to regain my artistic mojo which went into
hiding, I thought this was a good place to start.

All the mage robes for the College of Winterhold have now had a complete texture
revamp. They are cleaner, more colourful and much more ornate than the
old ones I did years ago. I like these better! Both male and female
robes are now done to the same detail and colours. I hated seeing
colourful males and muddy women!

I'm releasing these replacers as modules that can be used over my old one (just overwrite) so they can
be used alongside stuff I've already done.

Thalmor Robes:
These have now had a facelift, plus male and female now done in their entirity. Just overwrite to use.

August 2019: Male and female Thalmor now done and should match.
