Unfortunately this mod reverts USP fix for unminable ore. Which means a previously mined vein will occasionally become unable to provide any ore at all after respawn. It also conflicts with SkyRe in a small way - you no longer get Smithing XP from mining.
Otherwise great mod. Endorsed.
In the end I compiled my own script which does the same thing (a bit more cleanly I believe) with the USP fix and SkyRe compatibility included. If anyone wants the file, hit me up with a PM.
Worked great at first, but when I went back to mine previous veins, I was unable to interact with them. Not even by swinging my pickaxe at them. I had to uninstall the script to make the mining work again.
I have been experiencing the same problem. A workaround is to save the game where you want to mine the ore, quit the game, then reload the save and you can mine once again.
how to uninstall this cleanly? i have uninstalled this mod but it keep giving me an ore after my third swing and leave me with 6 more swing to deplete the ore vein + get any kind of gem if there is any.
So it is uninstalled then. Vanilla mining requires 9 swings total. This mod drops it down to 3. So if you've uninstalled, and require 9 swings, you're back to vanilla and just fine.
