About this mod

Adds a new dock area on the east side of Windhelm with an office containing 6 merchants with quite a bit (but not too much) gold who will buy your items and sell occasional special items from their homelands. Great if you have many items to sell. Merchants are willing to trade 24/7. A simple mod with no scripts so therefore no script lag.

This is my first mod so I am keeping it fairly simple but effective with this one.. 6 New Merchants with extra gold (not too much) and a new dock & office just east of the city of Windhelm. Designed to be a reasonably lore-friendly way of offloading your loot or mass-produced items (smithed items, potions etc or items crafted en-masse with other mods) I use it primarily for offloading my narcotics (don't judge me) produced with another new mod i'm working on.

Please see the screenshots but bear in mind i'm running Skyrim on a half-laptop half-abacus on lowest graphic settings.

Merchants will usually stock items popular in their homeland (the export ships don't come back empty you know), for example the Elseweyr exporter has some Moon Sugar and Skooma, the Valenwood exporter has a decent stock of leather from the vast forests down south & the High Rock exporter often has fine jewellery for sale.

Office is open 24 hours a day and merchants are marked as essential. Merchants will refresh their inventory and gold as vanilla merchants do. The decoration inside and out is simple and lore-friendly.

  • Nav-meshed interior and exterior so follower friendly.
  • Adds office building, docks and a couple of boats tastefully decorated in a lore-friendly way.
  • Merchants have 3000 gold each, they have a ship they are trying to fill with exports so have a decent budget to work with and will buy anything, for a fair price of course.
  • Compatible with vanilla Merchant perks (I hope all)
  • Should be almost universally compatible with other mods EXCEPT any that modify the area just outside the East walls of the city.
  • A nice warm fire inside and out for melting some of that thick Windhelm snow off your cloak.

UPDATE : V1.1
  • Spelling error fix (Cheif changed to Chief, duh)
  • Small navmesh tweak to stop them occasionally standing on the counter like deranged maniacs

Coming in future versions
  • Will probably add merchants for the other regions
  • Bug fixes (please report any to me and I will try and fix as soon as time allows)
  • Dynamic merchant stock on display - just worked out how to do this so it will be added

As this is my first mod, if you like it please endorse it and / or leave a comment. Also if you can run on higher graphics settings than me (so that must be everyone) I would appreciate a couple of screenshots that I can use here as mine look awful on lowest settings.
