Problem


Racial passives in vanilla Skyrim are a dull, and somewhat unbalanced affair. Altmer alone gain attribute bonuses (and 5 levels worth at that!), with no downsides. This mod reenvisions racial passives in Skyrim, drawing inspiration from previous titles and The Elder Scrolls Online.

All bonuses are added to your characterwhen you first load the mod. This mod does not modify race tokens and doesn't change NPCs, regardless of race.
Works on New games as well as on existing characters

*Note, for the sake of comprehensiveness, I am listing the vanilla bonuses as well. New additions are marked in orange.

Race Reenvision


Altmer
+50 Magicka
+Highborne Greater Power
Heritage of Aldmeris: Spells of all Schools are 10% more effective, but you suffer 25% Weakness to Magic.
Now have 50% Disease Resistance, in accordance with previous games

Argonian
+Resist Disease (50%)
+Histskin Greater Power
+Waterbreathing
Natural Resistance: +30 health and +50% poison resistance.
Marsh Child: Plants yield twice as many ingredients.

Bosmer
+Resist Disease (50%)
+Resist Poison (50%)
+Command Animal Power
Woodsman: +25% stamina recovery, +15% marksman damage.
Green Pact: Recover more arrows from dead bodies and deal 50% more Sneak attack damage with ranged weapons.

Breton
+Resist Magic (25%)
+Dragonskin Greater Power
Elfblood: +35 magicka, +5% magicka recovery.
Adept Learner: All skills increase 5% faster.

Dunmer
+Resist Fire (50%)
+Ancestor Wrath Greater Power
Dynamic: +25 Stamina and Magicka.
Heir of Red Mountain: Deal 5% more damage with Fire. Destruction skill improves 10% faster.

Imperial
+Imperial Luck (extra gold find)
+Voice of the Emperor Greater Power
Conditioning: +25 Stamina and Health.
Glibness: +10% Better Selling Prices.

Khajiit
+Claws (extra unarmed damage)
+Night Eye power
Nimble: Lockpicking and Pickpocketing is 20% easier.
Feline Grace: Make 25% less noise when sneaking, gain +30 Stamina

Nord
+Resist Frost (50%)
+Battle Cry Greater Power
Hardened: +50 health
Blood of Old Atmora: You stagger foes 25% more and Power Attacks deal 10% more damage.

Orsimer
+Bloodkin Status
+Berserker Rage Greater Power
Unshakeable: +30 health, +50% Stagger resistance.
Forgemaster: +15% better armor and weapon improvement.

Redguard
+Resist Poison (50%)
+Adrenaline Rush Greater Power
Exhilaration: +40 Stamina, and Power Attacks cost 10% less stamina.

(Anticipated) FAQ


Q: Will this mod change NPCs in any way?
A: No. Everything is added specifically to the player, and no one else - with the exception of High Elven disease resist. But that's irrelevant, as NPCs can't get diseases any way...
Q: Can I use this mod, even if I change race midgame?
A: Yes! All relevant perks are added to your character, but are only "activated" based on your current race. If you switch race, it just activates a new set of perks, and deactivates the former.
Q: Can I use this with other race mods?
A: Yes! My mod doesn't change actual race tokens, but only adds a bunch of custom perks to the Player.
Q: Should I use this with another race mod?
A: NO!  I would advise against using two/more racial mods because the game might quickly become imbalanced. For example; another mod here on Nexus adds +100 starting health to Nords. Coupled with my mod a level 1 Nord character would have a grossly overpowered 250 base health.

Installation/Uninstallation


Use a Mod Manager, or simply drop the esp file into your Skyrim\Data directory.
To uninstall, simply remove the esp again.
