I just came back to this file to make double sure I'd endorsed it. The amount of care and thought that went into this compilation is staggering. Each replacement is perfectly chosen. The complaints about the vocal parts are the result of people missing the point. Folks, just let yourself get into it. There's not any single piece of music that will seal the deal, this composition is meant to be understood as a whole. This is what Skyrim was meant to sound like if you understand the lore in the slightest.
Thank you soooo much for compiling these! It is one of the greatest experiences listening to these and given life is all but a moment in time, these songs are incredibly captivating and mesmerizing and therefore worth every minute in the game. Perfectly fitting into Skyrim and creating a much richer atmosphere, from combat to strolling around the wilderness or towns. Well done on compiling them fittingly! Also a huge thanks to the artists, though putting them together is an art itself! Thank you, and blessings*
Ah this music is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but when i download the file i cant extract the files..says files corrupted or no files detected "No archives found", can anyone help with this?
I am not saying that both of you do not have the problem you describe, but the problem must be on both your ends. I just downloaded the mod and I can open and extract it without any problems.
I know this is a very late reply, but just in case you're still having this issue (i'm assuming you're using MO/MO2), I had the same issue, MO said it could handle the install archive.
I suggest using WinRAR to manually extract the data folder to somewhere convenient, you do that by opening the mod archive (manually download the mod), finding the "Extract To" option on the top bar with all the fancy pictures, and then extract it to somewhere convenient (I suggest documents).
Once you do all that, find the folder where you extracted it to, (should be named "data"), right click on it and find the option labeled "Add To Archive", and in the window that pops up, find the "Archive Format" section with the 3 options "RAR, RAR4, ZIP", click "ZIP", before you press "OK" to zip it up, I suggest changing the archive name, just click the long bar near the top and rename to whatever you wish, after that, click "OK" and zip it up.
When that's done (again I assume you use MO/MO2), click the first option on the top left of MO/MO2 (second option for MO2 I think), find the .zip archive you made, and then double click it, should start to install like normal.

It is undoubtedly an exquisite work, there is nothing better than being able to walk through Skyrim with a new and rich soundtrack. It's beautiful in every way.
I'll try this out, I liked the songs I checked on the description page. One thing though, your sound effect preview links to soundcloud are broken, may want to check those out.
