First i was like "wow thit is soooo cool, i want it !!" and then i have read all the thing you have to do to install it and i was more like "i don't understand a word of this" maybe make a more simplified version ? or making a video of how to install ? i'm so sad i wanted it but english is not my first langage and it's too technical for my english and modding level

I'll try to make a version that's easier to install. I need permission from the SweetFX developer first though, so I'll try!

I plan to do one myself when I have time. However I give anyone permission to port it to SSE if they'd like to.

If I port it I plan to combine it with ReShade, and possibly make a version that uses the Raytracing Global Illumination shader they made for ReShade that you see all over youtube nowadays.

The ones on walls, armors, wood, they all look like extremely detailed

Armors is rather simple. For most stuff I use textures from Cabal's Amidianborn mods, you can find them here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/571605?tab=user+files

Now for all Iron stuff is different. I combine two mods, one is Hvergelmer's Iron Mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/30027?tab=user+files, the other half of the Iron stuff is Environment map shaders for armor from Pfuscher: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65393

I also use Hvergelmer's shield retextures which you can find under his files.

Wall's is a little more difficult cause I use a lot of different mods for those.

First Mod I use is Osmodius's Project parallax mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40512, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/996477?tab=user+files, I also use his Windhelm Texture Pack: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54322

Another great mod I use is Hein's Orc and Farmhouses textures: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60205/

The Cobblestone walls I use in villages I believe are from Osmodius's Project Parallax.

For wood I use a really hard to find mod from pfuscher I believe you can download it on his compilation texture page here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49661/?tab=files

Just look for Whiterun stuff. I only use his wrbasedirt01 textures, wrtrims01 textures, wrplasterint textures, and wrwoodbeam textures.

On top of that I also use the ruff slates mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83051

If you're interested in a specific texture, just ask and I'll try to figure out where it's from if I can .

Alright thanks..by the way one thing i really liked from your enb is how the body on lightining has this ``oiled`` look to them, can you teach me how to do that for other enbs?

      Aha! Glad you're a fan!

So as usual, press shift+enter to get into your enb settings, go down to your environment settings.

Under Environment, go to the specular settings. Each setting effects a certain time of day and/or interiors.

Specular amount makes everything more shiny, so this is the settings you want to increase. In my ENB I have them at about 2.4.

Specular power sort of "divides" the area that shines into smaller areas, as you increase it. Most of those I have at about 1.6.

Another setting you can mess with is under imagedbasedlighting under reflection, those settings reflect light from actual light sources in-game.

Just experiment around with those settings until you find something you like!

Alright, thanks again for the help, by the way, can i give some recommendations for the enb? (for reference im using vivid weathers) i think the darkness is too dark, to the point of you cant see anything or take any screenshot, and it gets dark pretty quickly from like 7pm it doesnt look like night much but its aleadry swallowing everyone, im not sure if this was meant for pretty screenshots but you could decrease the ``crust``, thats what im gonna call it, you can kinda get what i mean right? on the walls, skins, and brown wood, it looks too crude, it is pretty but i think its exaggerating a little to the point of not letting you take pretty screenshots.
Update..i tested awhile and also took some screenshots, i think everything looks too much like its made of chocolate..now im not sure if its me (you blame on me if it is), specially the parallax hd floor which doesnt fit well..not only that but it seems too different from your screenshots, i was expecting that nice silver filter and soft coloring but its like this https://imgur.com/a/OzNXFW6 , if its me then you help me, if its it then i hope you can fix with my recommendations, i would love to try the enb again as im also looking for something rustic and silver medieval with some more touch of colors that would make some beauty screenshots (which is something that goes along well with the oiled body effect)

Well, something must be wrong, cause it definitely doesn't look like that in my game.

Let's see.... which version of ENB did you download from http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.html?

      It should be version .349

I`ll see, but try to take in some recommendations, and specially in the skin cause something is overused in the skin in a way that it makes the skin color mismatch the head on like all npcs.

Hey mate, I realize it's 20 years later but I found the solution to your problem I think. What happened to you only happens on Windows 10 and I used Windows 7 when I made this.

Fast forward a year later I'm using a new Windows 10 installation, my enb suddenly looks like your screenshots.

All you have to do is delete the dxgi files, both of them from my enb. Will post an updated version of the enb in about a day.

Realize you probably don't want to use this anymore, but for anyone in the future I suppose, Cheers!

I think I replied to your comment on Sinitar Gaming's video.

I'm not sure how to fix it, I have a 1070 and 16gb ram, on 4k settings I average about 26 fps and on 1440p I average 30 to 40 fps. I get dips to around 20 when I look directly at the ground. Other enb's I've tried I get even worse performance like Suki or TK enb. I've seen footage of a guy with a 2080 ti only getting 30fps on Skyrim at 4k with enb and no texture mods. Truth is Bethesda games are very poorly optimized and trying to get good performance at high resolutions is much more graphics intensive than on games like say Battlefield V.

If it's not normal strain from the graphics card's abilities it could be things like high res texture mods or mods like dyndolod. I use dyndolod and when I have that mod installed I always get frequent drops to 1 fps for like a split second.

If you uninstall the enb and get no issues then it's definitely my enb, but I have no idea what might be causing it. I'm not a very experienced modder, I literally just played with sliders using the enb tool to make this preset.

You may want to go to ENB's website and ask around there for help, they know a lot more than me:

well no offence, due to the frame rate issue i switched to Opethfeldt ENb and i am getting much better FPS. 50 to 90 in some places so it must be your mod. Also don't worry about it too much, its stuff like this which helps your modding ability, i mean for a first attempt. The ENB looked awesome! I really like it

Ya like I said I'm no advanced modder. I just played with sliders, I have no idea how you make presets in such a way that it doesn't cause performance issues.

Also, I used lots of Bloom, specular, volumetric rays, and lens flare so it could be related to all of those as well. I had each of those settings pretty high and most other enb's I try try to keep keep them low, I didn't really want to do that.

Thanks though! Sorry it caused bad frame rates, my bad.

So, I'm unsure if the instructions are outdated ore are simply not working for me, but I will follow each instruction step-by-step and yet Skyrim will not accept this. No matter how I install it or how/where I run skyrim from, skyrim launcher opens, I press play, and then nothing at all happens. Task manager shows that skyrim launcher opens, but then once I press play, it closes, and nothing else opens, runs, and CPU load just drops like nothing ever happened. Please help me out, I love the look of your ENB, and am quite excited to try it.

Sorry for replying late, I've had a busy college semester.

You've probably moved on but if you're interested in trying out my enb ever again and for anyone else who has this issue I think these are the instructions that must be followed exactly to get your game running with this enb:

      "Next, download SweetFX Version 1.5.1:
      https://sfx.thelazy.net/downloads/

Extract the files from download anywhere except Skyrim directory, and rename d3d9.dll to SweetFX_d3d9.dll. Make sure you don't rename it SweetFX_d3d9.dll.dll twice. Now take these files and copy all files to Skyrim Main directory."

The important thing is that you have the d3d9.dll from SweetFX and that you rename it to SweetFX_d3d9.dll before you take ENB's d3d9.dll and put it in your Skyrim folder, otherwise, ENB's d3d9.dll will overwrite SweetFX's and this will cause the game to not launch.

Not sure if i can find the fix here but i have this odd letterbox effect going on and it cuts off my compass and my M/H/S bars which is rather annoying. Any info would be fantastic. This is a beautiful ENB btw my armor is pretty fuckin shiny and i love it!

      Glad you like it!

The letterbox is from SweetFX. If you want a quick way to disable it now, open SweetFX_settings.txt in Skyrim Folder and under Choose Effects inside the text file you will see the line

      #define USE_BORDER 1

Take that 1 and change it to 0 and you will disable the Border/Letterbox effect.

Another simpler thing you can do is press Scroll Lock while in game, that will get rid of the letterbox but it will also disable the rest of the SweetFX effects that are intended to be part of the ENB.

      Hope this helps!

I will be releasing an alternative Version without letterbox effects hopefully today. Got a lot of college class work to do so we'll see.
