About this mod
Three new keys are forged for the vault: one for you, and two others for Delvin and Brynjolf. Each key can open the vault's door — or lock it — at will.
- Permissions and credits
Adds three vault keys: one for you, and two others for Delvin Mallory and Brynjolf. If you open your inventory and activate your key, the vault door will automatically close and lock. As soon as you load your game, the changes should come into effect.
Features
Installation
Download and install through Nexus Mod Manager.
Unzip the folder and copy TGVaultKey.esp to Steamapps/.../Skyrim/Data.
Copy TGVaultDoorScript.pex to Steamapps/.../Skyrim/Data/Scripts.
Additionaly, simply merge the "Data" folders.
Thieves guild vault key has been tested in the three cases below:
I recommend you complete The Pursuit. I've made slight changes to the Thieves Guild vault door. Apparently, Brynjolf can still unlock the door, so the scene should proceed normally. If you can't find the Vault Key in the guild master's desk, either pickpocket a copy from Delvin or Brynjolf, or open the tidle key (~) and type:
Uninstall
Leave the Cistern and/or the Ragged Flagon, disable or delete TGVaultKey.esp from your Data folder, and delete TGVaultDoorScript.pex from your Scripts folder. Load the game and overwrite your save. If possible, clean your save from unused script forms using a specialized tool.
Features

- A save without mods, in which the Thieves Guild questline has been completed.
- A heavily modded save during The Pursuit, when Delvin, Brynjolf and Vex finally discover Mercer's betrayal.
