Anne was born in Castle Volkihar.Her constant reluctance to learn vampire magic angered the Lord Harkon, when she was 12, keep her out of the castle, left to her own devices.
In order to survive, the little Annie joined the vampires attacking the village of Tamriel.In Ivarstead village they happened to meet their Nemesis dawnguards. Annie's bad spell in the battle caught the attention of Dawnguards. Anne was wounded and captured.Dawnguards knew her unusual past through questioning,they negotiated with the village chief to take her up High Hrothgar and ask the omnipotent Greybeards to restore her human form. Anne stayed there for five years.Anne recovered better, but Greybeards could not cure her completely by any means, her eyes could not recover, with her in the eye the cold air made anyone scalp pins and needles.Greybeards told her that dragonborn would be able to fully restore her and meet him or her in Riverwood fortunately.Influenced by Greybeards, Anne learned to dragon voice, her royal vampire instincts erupted, it made Greybeards surprised she could shout to freeze enemy temporarily and absorb their health .
Anne was grateful to Dawnguard and Greybeards for her rebirth, and decided to join Dawnguard to revenge herself on Harkon.She studied dual axes skills with Cylan at Fort Dawnguard,and three years later she was far ahead of him.Soon after the head Isran received a begging letter from Solitude to help ward off the vampires harassing Riverwood at night continually.Anne volunteered to there so that she declared war on the vampires.SolitudeLord conferred the rank of captain Anne immediately and took over the defense of Riverwood.Under her strong attack,the vampires suffer great losses and are restrained a lot.
The town seemed unbreakable, and she looked out the west gate everyday, waiting for the dragonborn.
