I'm convinced that Aumriel was either an ancient Falmer witch or sorceress who bound her soul to the sword in order to exact vengeance against the invading Nords and their descendants for all eternity.
Hey Pandorable! Such a beautiful companion & love that she is a Snow Elf. She will complement my current playthrough (playing as a Altmer fighting the Thalmor). Really looking forward to using this companion and great work!
I just realised something. Katria's (from the Aetherium Deawnguard quest) voice seems most appropriate for use with Aumriel. There's been some Katria follower mods, and I even edited the one that made used the original voice (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55879) to make a follower voice framework to slap onto a custom follower, but never used it because I couldn't really find a unique follower that fit the voice, until I re-thought of Aumriel.
Hi - just another user, but here is some info that might help you:
EFF appears to have a known problem where a CTD occurs accessing the Magic option of the EFF wheel, if either the PC or the Follower have certain magic effects active. So I loaded up EFF, and I could reproduce you problem. To get around it, here is what you can do - but Pandorable will need to comment as to whether this has any adverse side effects on Aumriel. This is more of an EFF workaround for the CTD (click spoiler button).

1) Target Aumriel, and open up the Equipment option on the EFF wheel 2) Remove Aumriels Pendant 3) Exit the equipment menu 4) Target Aumriel, and open up the Magic option on the EFF wheel 5) Assuming it doesn't CTD at this point (it did NOT crash for me once her pendant was removed), do whatever it is that you want to do in the spells menu. I taught her two spells with no problems. 6) Exit the magic/spells menu 7) Open the equipment menu again and give Aumriel her pendant back.
Obviously, if you want to access the magic menu again for Aumriel at a later time, you will need to repeat the above process if you have given Aumriel's Pendant back to her in step 7.
I hope that helps, and I hope it doesn't cause any issues by removing the pendant and later adding it back. It seemed to work fine for me, and Aumriel had the same magic effects applied after I gave her the pendant back that she had before I took it away during the above steps.

To figure out your problem, I did a search on the EFF mod's comments section. In case you don't know how to do this (I did not for a long time)...
1) Go to the mod's Posts tab to see the comments. 2) On the right hand side of the comments section, above the comments, is a button that says: "Forum Thread" - Click that button to go to the forum site version of the comments 3) Once in the forum section, at the top right portion of the screen is a search box. If you enter keywords (I used: ctd magic) and hit search, it will search all the comments for the mod for the keyworeds you entered. That is where I found a bunch of information on the problem you were having, that led to my possible solution to your problem.
Again, if you already knew that, never mind! If you did not know you could search this way... Your Welcome!
Thanks for the tips on searching the Comments section, chickmetalhead! I've been trying to figure out how to do that for a long time. The closest I came was using Windows' search function on each page of comments; but that's pretty slow if there are lots of pages to search.
Hi, high quality mod as all of your mods, A small problem: I manage her with EFF but as soon as I try to open the "Magic" menu in EFF -> CTD. Not really a problem for me, but maybe for othes ( if it is reeally a probölem with the mod and not my setup):

Very nice follower, but I've noticed a crash.
I'm using Extensible Follower Framework (EFF). When I try to access Aumriel's spell list through EFF wheel, I get systematically a crash to desktop.
Don't really know why.
EFF appears to have a known problem where a CTD occurs accessing the Magic option of the EFF wheel, if either the PC or the Follower have certain magic effects active. So I loaded up EFF, and I could reproduce you problem. To get around it, here is what you can do - but Pandorable will need to comment as to whether this has any adverse side effects on Aumriel. The majik effect is conflicting with eff.
Seems eff does that sometimes. First id seen it in 2000 hrs of gameplay
