It only seems daunting or difficult before you actually try to convert Oldrim mods to SSE and I have a lot of patience and time. The more people who can convert mods, the more people can teach others who lack the knowledge to do so. :)

To port the armors you need to download BaE to extract the BSA into loose files, then you need to download and run Catheadral Assets Optimiser in the folder where you extracted this mod's assets and you need to optimise the mesh and done. Then you have to install the mod into your Skyrim and load this mod's ESP in Creation Kit to convert it to form 44
