Honest opinion, it's not even remotely challenging actually. The skeleton barely has any hp, and you can easily avoid getting hit by his arrows by simply strafing to the left or right. You should give him more hp and or defense, and something to increase his offensive capabilities such as spawning additional Nightshade Assassins, that way you have to focus on more than just one enemy and therefore mistakes can easily be made.
Ack.....in my game, sure enough there was da spooky Skelington.......all mean and hard to kill.....except he had no bow!!!!....and was fighting me with his fists, bless his cotton socks lol.Looting him only gave me arrows.....so i had to fire up the old AddItem Menu and got the spell tome and bow.
Thx for telling me about that problem. I just tested it in my game (3 different characters) 2 times the skeleton had a bow and dropped the right items 1 times it had no bow, fought with bare hands and only dropped arrows, like in your case.
I'll take a look at it.
Edit: I just fixed this bug in the version 2.0. The skeleton was unarmed if your character was under level 20 because of a mistake I made in the creation kit. Everything should work fine now.
Ahhhhh, great stuff. Yeah, my player is a fairly new game profile, and is only level 9. The bow and conjure spell is very handy for tricky situations were I am killed a few too many times times by hard enemies, and need to progress........ or get some vengeance.
Nice work! I, too, always thought Bethesda made skeletons an underpowered joke in Skyrim. I remember the first time I came across them in the vanilla game...it was night....hardly a light from the moons to see where I was going...and I heard their distinctive clacking sound...and they came into view......armed, and scary as hell, especially in the dark......and...I effortlessly kicked their ass at level 4 lol.
