Let us open with a suitable testimonial quoted from the comments page:
Words and pictures alone don't do this mod justice as seeing is indeed believing where E.R.A. is concerned.

Seeing my character get hit by a warhammer then slump over lifelessly into a blacksmiths forge made me actually wince. It adds an extra level of brutality and realism to combat that's normally glossed over. Seeing a mound of corpses interwoven against a wall after you just blasted them with master level ritual lightning beam? Brutal as f***. Watching a guard slide off a roof and hit every little wodden beam and pillar before hitting the ground with a unnerving thud after being carried off by a dragon? That's pretty realistic... I mean immersive.

This mod is responsible for making me feel bad about killing bandits.

Enhanced Ragdoll Accuracy 0.9.6

Enhanced Ragdoll Accuracy is my latest personal project. I am a ragdoll enthusiast who suffers terribly when a game's physics are just plain wrong, and it should go without saying that Skyrim is one of those games that was a great affront to me. I am making great strides in correcting the problem, however, and this mod is the end result.

Using Enhanced Ragdoll Accuracy alone will eliminate awkward back-bending corpses, instant rigor mortis, and slippery sliding bodies for the playable humanoid races and a handful of humanoid monster races such as Draugr - with more to come in the future! I highly recommend you couple my work with the Realistic Ragdolls and Force plugin, but do not install the meshes that come with Realistic Ragdolls and Force or you will break my mod and miss out!

My mod allows bodies to assume natural positions such as the fetal position, encourages opponents to crumple when killed rather than spring out like ironing boards, and just generally makes you go, "Ouch!" when you see someone tumble down a cliff face or staircase.

ERA is my continuing project. There will be more creatures and continual tweaking until I am finally satisfied with the physics. That could take a while; I get kinda OCD when it comes to physics - seriously. I will try to remember to eat on the days that I'm tweaking the numbers. In the meantime, I will enjoy my work thus far and hope you will too! :D
