About this mod

10 Craftable Magic Torches with unique enchantments, light colors and sounds. Get also 6 new maces and a custom spell to summon a Cold flame Atronach, or summon it with one of these torches.

Craft 10 light sources that never burn out.
Each of them gives off custom benefits and don't need to be recharged.
You can also make 6 maces of the same speed of a sword. They're unenchanted and don't emit light.
Their crafting station is based in Shattered Ice cave, west of Winterhold.



The Everlights are torches, and therefore light objects.
Their enchantments cannot be displayed on the items themselves,
but there's a journal in front of the crafting station with the information you need.



Nifty the spider will sell various items, plus a spell to conjure a Cold Flame Atronach (ESO).
His shop is available from 8am to 8pm (that's how it works!).
I retextured the regular Flame Atronach to which I added my retextured spells and effects.
The spell scales on your Conjuration ability, so you can summon a Potent version of this Atronach
if you have the vanilla Elemental Potency perk.

Lowers the cost of all spells and power attacks with one handed weapons by 20%.
This effect applies to all other torches.

The wielder takes 30% less damage from both physical and magical attacks.


If you have the vanilla destruction perks
Deep Freeze, Intense Flames and Disintegrate,
the torches' cloaks will have the according additional effects.


Compatibility & Known Issues
Compatible with any perk or magic mod. Put this mod at the bottom of your load order to make sure the bashing damage works as intended, expecially if you have race-related mods that affect the Player character. The vanilla torch bashing perk overrides any other bashing perk, so I had to remove it manually. And if you have any other mod that affects the Player character (new races / race-related mods), the perk will be back to override and disable my custom bashing effects.


  • TL;DR - Put this mod at the bottom of your load order to make sure the bashing damage effects work properly, expecially if you have race-related mods that affect the Player character.
  • You can use Enchanted Arsenal and Spellsword to customize your maces' enchantments and effects.
  • I already cleaned the plugin with xEdit.

Uninstallation

Make sure your character is not wielding any torch before uninstalling the mod.
Remove the torches from your equipped items, then uninstall.

I wanted to make this mod for a long time.
I was inspired by the Aeterna Torch from Nehrim, a total conversion for TES IV Oblivion by SureAI
(the same team who brought you Enderal. I recommend you play both games if you haven't already, they're amazing!)
