I applaud your hardcore-ness because I can appreciate what it took to create all of those chests. A better way is to use Texture Sets. It allows you to assign more than 1 set of textures to the same model file. You can create everything by only opening the nif file one time to set it up and the rest can be done in the creation kit in a single session. The benefits are smaller mods because you have 1 model file and a lot of textures, rather than a lot of model files and a lot of textures. It would also use less resources in game for the same reason.
If you are unfamiliar with Texture Sets, I know there is a tutorial somewhere that I would have to dig up. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks Homercide, i know how to apply texture sets in the ck but the problem is not everyone who downloads this resource does, however those who do can still do it that way if they want to save data, But as with most resources this was made simply to save time, the same way a static potion arrangement resource saves the modder from having to create the static potions in ck and place them all individually. Not only that but not all of the chests can realistically be used together, some are very detailed labels like Iron Weapons and other labels are more general like Weapons. And 20 chest meshes are under 1mb in size and should be more than enough to create a nice little labeled auto sort system without the hassle of creating and applying 20 textures themselves.
2 can you do a button to dump all not equipped armor into the system?? (i would KILL to get a GS trigger for armor like there is for about everything else)
3 also did you mean to not include and ESP or a readme explaining how to use these??
