I agree with the change though; warriors also use archery and it's primarily a combat skill (obviously). Same with one-handed being also added by Alex to the Thief stone (it's used a lot in stealth for daggers, despite being mostly sword-oriented). There's no reason why one skill can't be affected by two stones, since you can't use two stones at once.
What about if you use the Lover Stone that gives 15% bonus to all skills? This is what I tend to go with since as you noted, some skills receive no benefit from taking another more specified stone. While I may not get a more speedy boost in a specific area, at least I should be slightly accelerated on all counts.

now if you want you can tell me in detail what your mod idea is so i can look into it. i dont even have creation kit nor skyrim currently installed. much more hassle and time spent. perhaps keep that in mind.
I think DevoutlyWicked is asking for the adjustable boosts to be available for the Lover Stone as well as the Thief/Warrior/Mage stones.(I don't care myself; I won't use that feature, since I care about progressive game balance, but I will use the feature that adds archery to Warrior and one-handed to Thief.)
