Oh my God, bro! Thank you very much for correcting this terrible sound! I spent three hours looking for a problem on the Internet until I came across a form where they threw me a link to your mod! But, like some people here, my bug was due to the fact that a nasty hissing sound appeared after I became a werewolf. Thank you very much!
I don't get it. I enchanted a few weapons with ice, and it wasn't too long before i got this horrible bug, but for some reason your patch doesn't fix it. It's the same sound, same enchant, but nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks
i've never acquired chillrend in my game, but i got the bug from enchanting a custom weapon. this mod helped me https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35258?tab=description
i've never used See Enchantments mod and its not required to fix the bug
I had this exact same problem, but with a different file - It was mag_cloakfrost_lp.wav in the sounds/fx/mag/cloaks folder (I think it came with cloaks of skyrim). Your mod gave me the idea how to fix it though (I actually used this sound file and just changed the name). Thanks!
OH MY GOD, I think it worked too, hopefully it doesnt come back, im gonna shoot myself if it does. But it seems be to GONE, FINALLY, FREEEDOOOMM, its so quite now, OMG, I dont even remember how skyrim sound was before until the sound was gone
For the people that don't know how to install this, just do what I did: 1. Install Lucidity Sound FX mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1841?tab=files 2. Download the fix on this page; 3. Open the explorer from the Lucidity Sound FX mod you downloaded in step 1; 4. Put mag_frostbite_drawsheathe_lpm inside sound>fx>mag>frostbite; 5. DONE! you are free from this annoying bug and can finally enjoy your game :)
I dropped the folder in, but the frost effect is still there. Can you put the feature in for NMM install?
The readme is a little ambiguous, but after you d/l and open the file, this is what worked for me:
find where the file downloaded > open the "data" folder, then "sound", then "fx". copy the "mag" folder. find your skyrim folder within steam > steamapps > common open "Skyrim" folder. then Data > Sound > Fx Copy the "mag" folder. Success.
tried this, still there, I even removed the sound from the files physically, still there -_- rip 40hr toon from a stupid ass bug someone was too lazy to fix -__-

Drop the folder in the Septimus/Stock Game folder.
11 freaking years without any other fix found.
For a game as popular, thats quite the achievement.
*Works with SSE!
