Grandfather Yorik’s child was adamant about not embracing the dragon blood. Along with their spouse, they took to adventuring, bringing back the treasures found on their journeys. They built a simple home, named after their favorite way of relaxing, with a secret place to hide their wealth and treasures.

Still, Yorik persisted and cajoled. The young couple yearned for far distant lands, where neither had to consider taking up the challenge and responsibilities of the blood of Akatosh. It wasn’t time yet. Both had other interests.

So they left. The young mother to be had no knowledge that she carried the last Dragonborn beneath her heart. Neither dreamed of the role their baby would play. Or, that the stars and time itself waited on the arrival of this child. Unaware and pining for adventure, they left their home and father. Travelling to faraway lands, their fate unknown. The child was born, and grew, and thrived.

The Grandfather remained and grieved. But, held out hope that the grandchild, who he would never know, would return. Not knowing how or when. He set aside what he could to help the child and left a note that he hoped would convey is love and guidance. His home, along with that of the child, who fled the blessing of Akatosh, remain empty but, ready for the one who will come. Together, they will provide the Dragonborn with much that will be needed in the coming days.

There are crafting stations, plenty of storage, a garden, chickens, and horses. There is room for a spouse, as well as some followers or guards. Children will require a larger home, but there is plenty of space here to train and prepare for the future that cannot be stopped. And, if this grandchild, be they hunter or mage, warrior or thief, bard or farmer; also chooses to reject their heritage, there is much to sustain them on their path, and a warm fire to come home to each night. And now, the signs point to the return of Alduin. The time has come for a young Dragonborn to return to the family home and become acquainted with their past, while facing the future.

Bradain Chorr is a cozy stilt home on the edge of Riverwood. It is an extension of Hindalok, with a garden, your own herd of horses and the standard crafting stations. There are many Hearthfires Planters and room for 2 companions in the stables and 3 in Hindalok cottage. (There is a spare bedroll under the bed.)

A cellar is hidden under the stables with a heap of bookshelves and many treasures displayed. It's a quiet, secure place to relax with a good book. (One companion can sleep on the furs by the fire)

Bradain Chorr is a custom home designed by and built for Lierin. It is designed to work with Hindalok, Frostfall and the Convenient Horses mods.

"My decorating ideas are very influenced by Elianora, Shezrie, ClefJ, and Cynndal. It's their fault(s) that I'm such a fan of all those individual storage containers and fancy doodads tossed on shelves and desks lol." - Lierin

There are 3 versions available.

Real Shelter is highly recommended to keep the rain out.
There is a patch included in each archive, which will probably be activated on installation.
If you do not have Real Shelter installed, Disable BRCRSPatch.esp

Detailed Rugs is needed, for those nice knot work rugs. But,
is not a requirement

This has not been designed for and is Not Recommended to be run with Greenmount Gardens or Kriemen's Riverwood due to very heavy resource usage, differing ground levels and incorrect land textures. They all overwrite the same cell.

KRWood can be run without a patch, but there may be CTDs when things get busy with vampires, dragons and bandits spawning everywhere. There will be some navmesh issues as well, due to KRWood having to be loaded after this.

Install with your favourite mod manager or simply place the ESP and BSA files into
Load Order is...
