UPDATE V1.2 -Reduced the size of most normal maps to improve performance. If you have the vram to spare, you can find the original normals in all their 2K uncompressed glory in the optional downloads section. -The "invisible first-person torso" bug has proven to be weirdly elusive. As a temporary workaround, I've added arms from the cuirass to the first-person glove meshes. Not ideal, but I found it preferable to floating hands.
UPDATE V1.3 -Fixed first-person meshes -Changed ISMod of Chaos explosion to something a bit more toned-down
UPDATE V1.4 -Made "Conjurer's Dremora Thrall" outfit helmet unplayable -Made "Defeat the Conjurer" completable in journal when using cheat-code (Not retroactive)
UPDATE V1.5 -Finding the Conjurer: After the player reaches level 15, notes warning of a dangerous individual will begin appearing outside inns, halls, and some road signs near Karthwasten, Dragon Bridge, Morthal, Dawnstar, Windhelm, and Winterhold. Take one of these notes and read it to reveal the location of the Conjurer. The Conjurer may still be encountered and defeated at any level. -Changed the VFX of "Silence" to be much more visible (especially on large targets like dragons) -Changed Kahl's default, unplayable outfit to have zero armor rating. This will make it easier to encourage him to wear alternate armor sets. -Added Kahl to follower factions while summoned to increase compatibility with any mods that may use this to detect followers. -Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Such a kickass follower. A first this type of mod I downloaded because I really like how unique he is and what type of mechanics are involved. I like how there's equipment specifically designed for him and which the player can't use. Very well thought out mod. He's certainly effective but not overpowered, e.g. I like how he has this whole recovery period after he goes down. Doesn't talk much yeah but in some weird way it actually gives him personality because you can kind of fill in the blanks yourself, plus he never gets annoying with repetition. In my current survival type of playthrough I feel really attached to him (I'd romance him if I could lmao). He's been such a clever thing compared to some other followers who tend to get stuck or are in the way all the time. (I've noticed he likes to keep a bit of a distance so it's been very rare for him to be blocking any doorways or such.) Awesome mod.
Hey there I recently used your mod on the "mods" under the Skyrim SE and I love it so much! Thank you so much for your hard work and I want to let you know that you are appreciated. The whole concept is amazing and og. I am in love with this mod and your hedge witch mod. 100% on board and excited for new content you release! I would marry Kynreeve Kahl if I could. He breaks my heart and I want to just protect him from everything. Thank you so much for bringing him to life in Skyrim. Coolest armor too! Props to you! Will continue to support this mod.
Now im curious about the girl in the Eiries screenshots, i want that mods so badly to play the vampire summoner to use with Khal, like the ultimate dremora summon for endgame.
ooh, no, you still need to make him a more interactive follower with a bit of a back story, like Kaidan, and give him some sex lab love, like the dremora in Angrim's Apprentice ;-) And is he marriagable? would love to try him out with spouses enhanced as well.
i download kynreeve spell but when i start play there was just staaf :( and next i download staff and there was staff too :( i cna not finde spell :( why?

Edit: Meant to post this on the armor mod, nevermind.
He has the same position as Zant in Twilight Princess: Usurper King
His race is Obscuuri, not Dremora.
He's the one that crushes the old empire and allows the Dragonborn to rise to power, so to speak.
