Can I ask if you mixed the NM from GCO and diffuse from real women or vice versa? The two both look nice and I love how Real Women- and Belia, by extension- have heavy looking eyes (prominent? hooded? lazy? not sure of the word, but it's pretty)
Good luck in your studies-I also studied abroad for a couple years and it's really something else. and- she's lovely- thanks! Don't worry, I'm keeping her in lore friendly stuff Looks very nice in Grace Darkling's attire pack dresses, especially in green! The golden tint on your screenshots makes everything look like a summer dream.
If I remember correctly, I just used the hand texture from GCO and the rest from real women. I'm pretty sure I mixed different textures (diffuse etc) mods together, however I wouldn't be able to tell you which ones specifically (although they're all credited).
Also thank you! It's extremely motivating and as a result I've put an extreme workload on myself with two majors and now a minor and the possibility of other scholarships and study abroad opportunities, so I can't afford to become immersed in gaming again. I've been thinking of fixing her updated version regardless, though - perhaps when I have an extended period of free time.
I often have her wear green as well! And I love the golden tint. Grim and Somber is certainly my favorite ENB.
Just a note...Before you re-upload, make sure to change her Weight back to 0 from 100 else the neck gap is big enough to see through. I made the change in TES5Edit myself and it was perfect.
Hello friend, I seem to be having some trouble with your follower. For some reason her hair is purple mixed with blonde and I noticed a seam around the ankles. Is there anything that I can do? I downloaded only your most recent 1.1 version on the Nexus. I have Apachi hairstyles installed.
hi - someone's reported this issue to me once before, but I've been unable to replicate it on a vanilla game. the textures direct appropriately to the meshes, and before uploading 1.1 I went through nifscope again to make sure they're targeted. I can check again tomorrow - in the mean time, you may be able to direct the texture files to the meshes in nifscope again (if they somehow got unregistered), or consider downloading the ks hairdos renewal/ks hairdos hdt in the mean time. as for the ankle mesh, I didn't get the issue when I checked before uploading her, but I can check again to make sure. apachii hairstyles also shouldn't have any impact on her because she is standalone.
She looks so sweet! The character I'm starting also happens to live north of Falkreath (in a little family farm I modded myself ;u;) so I think I just found myself a childhood friend!! What a lucky find ~
Also, I read down below that you are working on a questline/custom voice for her. That's great! I'm excited to see what you come up with :D It can be a little tricky but there are tons of tutorials online, I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out!
i wont be doing a custom voice for awhile because i would want to do it myself and i don't have a good mic! i'll do a quest + house for her though!! also that's so adorable!! in fact here she is as a child! if you make a story for your character maybe we can relate our stories :D
About the voice acting, we're on the same boat.. I had a character all done and ready as an NPC but my mic is terrible, my voice acting skills are horrendous and my accent way too thick to do anything half decent ;-;
My character Laenel's story is kinda simple, mostly because I wanted to have some freedom to fit in with the game storylines. Not sure how you would tie their stories, but here we go: In summary, she is a cheerful bosmer living with her dad in her family's farm. Her mom worked as a mercenary while her dad worked the farm and traded with the nearby settlements. About 3 months before the game starts, her mom was killed during a job (tying story to my boy Inigo) and her dad became a paranoid and depressed mess (her parents are former blades agent but shhhhh she doesn't know), so now Laenel has to handle anything involved with leaving the farm (trading, hunting, doing odd jobs, playing lute at the inns, "finding" things that won't be missed...), anything for them to survive, cause life is tough. She had to go to Helgen for a simple delivery and then BAM main quest.
Here is a pic of her: https://orig00.deviantart.net/0ab2/f/2018/027/c/a/screenshot38_by_mareaw-dc1bq8k.png
Alpha isn't applied to hair (the hair that is under her HDT wig I had her drop). So purple image texture is seen. I'd fix it in Nifskope, if I knew how. Her wrists are smaller than her arms. Some dynamic weighting issue, I'd guess.
oh my gosh! you're right. i realized i had ks hairdos installed in my vanilla test so the issue has been surpassing me in the standalone. i really have no idea what is going wrong with the directory because it seems to be linking properly but i'll figure it out asap the wrists seem to have to correct weighting issue with her default outfit but not when you change her clothes, haha. i always seem to have mesh issues. since it's not a large gap ill fix it in the next update because i'm adding some things, but i'll fix the hair issue right now and upload a file in a few minutes. edit: uploaded
