love the mod wish was able to have more then 100 pages or many volumes when i get to writing i cant stop and more often then not there is no way to really shorten it
I've been trying to get this to work but all I get in game is weird images on the pages with rainbows colors just reading : "IMG:" What am I doing wrong?
In the notebook exe file properties make sure you run it as "administrator". It should work fine with XP. Vista can be a pain but Windows 7 is fine with it.
Triplex2011, thank you for this absolute gem of a mod. This is such a useful tool to have in game. I have tons of merged mods with clothes, armours, weapons and followers, and I wanted an in game 'catalogue' with pictures of all my stuff (useful for when I forget what Wjun Lady armour looks like, and the inventory supplies a vanilla thumbnail only.). This is so handy, and the editor is pretty easy to use. I assembled a 40 page catalogue very quickly.
Like a few other users I had to use console to get the book to appear, but it works flawlessly after that.
I have tried a couple of other journal note books including in-game editing ones, but they were so clunky they were just frustrating. "Take Notes" is excellent but I use a controller and basically I just could not get it to work smoothly. I tend to scribble notes on paper as I play, so now I can add them to this Personal Notebook before the next game.
OK, this is not going to match every player's requirements for an in-game journal, but using it in the way it is designed, it works well and suits my kind of need perfectly.
If you intend to develop this further, the editor would be even more useful if I was able to "insert" a page in the sequence - in case I wanted to put something close to the front of the in-game book.

Endorsed! And thanks!
