A remake of Hjerim in my own style. Cozily furnished, and the interior now matches the exterior. DLC Hearthfire required.

This is my attempt to remake the player home in Windhelm.
Did you notice that the exteriors of many houses in Skyrim don‘t match the look of their interior? Well I did, and it began to bother me somehow. So this is not only my personal furnishing of Hjerim but I also rearranged the rooms and moved the windows and walls. Now the interior is smaller but that‘s how it should look like according to the exterior.
On the ground floor you‘ll still find the kitchen and the dining area, as well as a library/map room area, an alchemy lab, and the housecarl‘s room (below the stairs).
I moved the child bedroom upstairs, next to the master bedroom.
Features:
- beds (spouse, housecarl, 2 kids)
- cooking pot, oven, butter churn
- alchemy lab
- shrine of Talos and Stendarr
- weapon plaques, 2 mannequins, booshelves
- lots of storage (default and named)
There is no enchanting table, sorry. I rarely use that skill, and a true nordic Stormcloak commander is a warrior and no mage in my opinion. I also did not add a smithing area as many house mods do – there‘s a blacksmith in the city, so go to him, after all you‘re that poor man‘s only customer.
I also changed the exterior (as a separate esp) so there is a bit space between the city walls and the house, with a firepit, benches, and a wood chopping block.
Notes for installing:
The DLC Hearthfire is required as a master file.
The Quest „Blood on the ice“ should be completed before you activate my mod – it won‘t be possible afterwards.
You have to purchase the house as usual, but not the decorations. The house comes completely furnished.
If you have already bought Hjerim: Remove all items and NPCs from the house, then save in another interior location. Quit the game, activate my mod, and move in.
