2. Scroll down till the bottom of the page and click on "download" (you'll download the latest version of enbseries, which is 0.389 at the moment I am writing this); 3. open the downloaded file and copy these 3 files:
- d3d9.dll - enbhost.exe - enblocal.ini
4. paste the copied files into your Skyrim directory (steam > steamapps > common > skyrim); 5. Now you can Download this enb; 6. Copy all of its files and paste them into your Skyrim directory (overwrite when asked); 7. Open the file "enblocal.ini" and change the line
"VideoMemorySizeMb=..."
to the correct value for your computer (to know the right value, use the tool provided by the creator of ENB at the following link:
http://enbdev.com/download_vramsizetest.htm
just extract the file and run the tool for Directx9. Copy the number that it will show. Rememer to close Chrome and other applications while doing so, as they might use some of your vram and make the number lower than it actually is)
8. If you want to use the Letterbox effect, open the file "enbeffect.fx" with Notepad and correct the typo as in my comment above yours (in case it hasn't been already corrected by the author of this enb by the time you're reading this). Remember to insert the correct value for your screen resolution and to change:
#define LETTERBOX_BARS 0 to #define LETTERBOX_BARS 1
This should be all :)
For further optimization of your system for enbs, follow the tutorial on this link, it really makes wonders:
I followed all of these steps but now whenever I launch the game it shows the error "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\d3d11.dll.
I am sorry, I have no idea what might cause that. Skyrim is a dx9 game, not a dx 11 game, so I don't know why would you need a d3d11.dll in the first place.
I am not playing on LE anymore, just using SE at the moment and unfortunately enbs aren't as developed for this newer version of the game.
In your ENB settings, how do I configure the NEAR BLUR DOF. I like walking in third person, however the blur effect makes my Dizona Body character very blurry and cannot see the details.
I like the DOF in 1st person but the third person makes it unplayable for me. The setting is not available through the enb in game settings.
open the enbdepthoffield-fx file and go to line 40: #define fBaseBlurRadius 0.17// base blur radius (higher values mean more blur when out of depth of field)#
edit the value to your liking. 0.06 should allready do okay
This is an amazing ENB and I don't want to stop using it but I have one issue with it. Is there suppose to be no sun ray effect ? Because even after changing the numbers to higher in the ENB tab they still don't appear.
Alright thanks, btw why is it so peformance heavy ? I tried a lot of ENBs even the most system taxing ones like Kountervibe, Caffeine, Suki but this one seems to be the biggest fps killer.
when I use magic or torch, stuff gets realllly dark. Makes magic combat very difficult. I would disable adaptaion but then everything is way too bright.. any other solution?
I like allot about the new version, but I noticed it hits around 5% of performance over the old version and has made dark interior spaces and nights much more blue or green. I'm assuming this was intentional?
dof uses some high resolution filter and the chromatic aberration just picks the filter and splits it into red green and blue layers which are then scaled differently in size based on the amount of DOF applied.
Hi! I love the look of the preset yet I can't use it for some absurd reason.
Whenever I load in this preset, my fps is capped at 29.99 and I can't do anything about it. FPS limiter isn't enabled in the GUI. If I shift + F12 to disable the effects, even the vanilla graphics has a capped FPS. I am running no weather mods or lighting overhauls. This is the only enb this has happened with.
I predict a Vsync issue but I am having trouble where to look to fix it. If I open Nvidia Control Panel, V sync is off. yet in the ENBS GUI it says it is on.
This isn't a hardware issue either, I have the same as the mod creator, GTX 970 and an I7. I cna run enbs like NLVA at 50-60 so this shouldn't much harder.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
I am not playing on LE anymore, just using SE at the moment and unfortunately enbs aren't as developed for this newer version of the game.
The line
float2 fvTexelSize = float2(0.1 / 1920.0, 0.1 / 1080.0);
should be changed to
float2 fvTexelSize = float2(1.0 / 1920.0, 1.0 / 1080.0);

After I installed this enb with all the file, it made my game CTD even the older versions.
