should make their racial power similar to nightingale armor, make them turn black and deal damage to those near for 60s. simple to do, makes sense with your race, and would be cool.
Damn shame I had to go thru bout half the category Race, class etc before finding a simple yet non boring stealth type of character-this looks all round what I was seeking.Thankies.
The mod is awesome and the ability is great. I like how you spend the time putting detail of the character background info. I do have a favor to ask if you can add more of the character style like the hair from the head or the bread just to put great detail on it. It will be awesome and also try to spend some time of the story dialog when they present the character and put in the info for the ability of the character. The mod is great keep up the good work!
@ hylian981 : you never heard about the console commands? player.setav?
before the race change, note (on paper!) all your skill levels and THEN reassign them after using showrace menu w/ the console command player.setav followed by the skill's name and the skill's previous score. It takes time but It's worthy.
Okay guys I i've found out how to do it, but only on pc and mac, not ps3 and xbox. First you press the '~' button on mac (may be another one on pc) to open up the console. Then you type in 'showracemenu'(no commas needed for any command while typing it in) and press enter. After that press the '~' button again to exit. Now you will be looking at a character selection screen exactly the same at the start of the game. You can now choose the Shadow Elf or another race if you want, and even change his/her appearance. When you are done prees 'R' and rename your character. You should now be playing as a shadow elf. However your skills and attributes(health, magicka and stamina) are set to default. To get them back to normal you have to type in this command: 'player.setav (attribute) (amont)'. For example: 'player.setav health 300' will set my max health to 300. You have to do the same with magikca and stamina. For you skills you have to type 'player.setav (skill) (amount)' eg: 'player.setav illusion 92' will set your illusion to 92. You now have to do the same for every skill as well. Here's a site that will tell you what to type for the skills because for archery you have to type 'marksman' instead of 'archer', and I'm not sure if tis is the case for some other skills.
I've tried the console commands 'showracemenu' and 'setplayerrace'. It worked, and even allowed me to change his appearance! BUT my skills are down to default and my health, magicka and stamina set back down to 100 each. Can anyone help me, please?
