A massive world overhaul mod for Skyrim, fps friendly. TPOS Complete had been revamped, corrected, optimised, expanded upon and is a no compromise mod which I have developed for immersive pleasure and game play.

The purpose of the mod:

When I conceived of this mod in the beginning I wished to develop a lore friendly mod, as best as, which would deliver a sympathetic improvement on the game's elements, such as the Nord way of life, the nature of the Thalmor and the plight of those in Skyrim.

I have endeavoured to stick to these principles throughout the three years or so while making this mod, so you, 'The People Of Skyrim,' have a experience which brings a new freshness to the game.
You will need to come to understand the interior and exterior worlds once more and the new dangers which you will face. This mod is not a linear experience, you will meet enemies whom are more than you and less than you at every level. On saying that of course it is you who will put yourself in danger in most cases. You can level up with relative ease as you would without this mod.


TPOS Complete had been revamped, corrected, optimised; fps friendly, expanded upon and is a no compromise mod which I have developed and I am still building upon for immersive pleasure and game play experience. Over 4900+ hrs have been put into this classic version.

Summary:
: A one hundred percent navmesh mod. Take your followers anywhere.

: Linear & nonlinear gameplay.

: Every town city and village has been modified sympathetically to the times and events. The mixed cultures
and agendas.

: Civil War skirmishes reflecting the probing nature of war. Most of these will be played out before the events
of the CW come to an end. One off skirmishes across Skyrim, land and sea.
Does not affect the vanilla CW quest and is independent of it.

: The landscape changes are many, varied, with opportunities of gold, blood and death! You will find many
new tests to face.

: New forested areas across the Tundra and beyond.

: New caves, forts, bandit camps and enemies, some of which will spawn only at times of main quest
completion.
These spawns are triggered based, hand placed in the world, so they should not conflict with mods like
Immersive Patrols and such. Refer to load order advice.

: New merchants with lots of gold and a thiefs merchants near dragon bridge, which comes within the new
settlements across Skyrim.

: As for player houses I have accommodated for all player types in game. Vampire, thief, warrior, mage, or
collectors, you will find what you need.
In some of the Taverns in the game you will find a diary with info on all the abodes and other helpful tips to
boot.

: Skyhaven Temple will provide a more immersive experience for you, as you progress through the
questline. Complete the Esbern Skyhaven Temple questline for the new changes to apply.

: There are new followers of every type dotted around Skyrim. Some you can get married to.

: New road travellers, horseback and foot.

: The caves, ruins, forts, of Skyrim have been altered for a more interesting experience. You will become
careful once more, or you will pay the price in some cases and you will not be so sure of your steps, as you
once was.

: New ruins, dwemer, nordic, imperial, and so on. Reflecting the ancient history of Skyrim.

: There are many other small touches to this mod. For example when dragons attack you will come across
farmhouses burnt out, they are complete beforehand but with no interiors. When you come across them
they will have 'Key Required' when trying to access the doors and you will come across burnt corpses on
the roads and such.
Just some of the many new features of the game. I sincerely hope you enjoy the experience.

: Now for the controversial. There are cheats in the game; a high powered sword which can be obtained
early on, ( found in Dova Hall ) home's to.
Please if you are a purist, just leave these items and homes until you feel the time is right to engage them.

: Here is another bone of contention for some. You will come across neo markers. This was a mod I came
up with long ago and never published it.
However I have merged it into the main file. There are now new fast travels all over Skyrim. Where they go I
cannot even remember? It's an adventure after all!
Some will help and some might just lead you to Oblivion!

Update:
( I have not removed the portals so they are still located in game but you cannot be transport anymore...A compromise for those who wanted it. Patch in download area. Follow the instructions please. )

How to use this mod:
Please understand this is no small affair. You will need to start a new game, or download the save game files I have provided for you in the download area. Your game will start just before the cave exit at Helgen. Open console type in 'showracemenu' and alter the character as you wish. This save is clean, no other mods loaded only the default game.
If you use this file you can load the mod straight away following the load order advice.

If you are starting a new game from the default intro wait until after Helgen before loading my mod. Go to an interior cell, save, exit game, load tpos, restart.

: Vanilla lod's are provided in a download file under 'Optional' for the new structures and forests.
If you are using Vurts, realistic trees, or other mods of this nature then of course you will need to load those mods & run lod generator.

Run the lod generator after installing the default lods from the below link and then your tree and grass mods with billboards if applicable.

Compatibility:
This mod author doesn't support patches for other mods. Please ask the author of a mod for support. I have 
enough to do looking after this beast and finishing it off.

As for other immersive mods I strongly suggest that you play with this mod on it's own. Get to know it before you add new landscape mods, homes, villages and the like.


Load Order:

Place tpos_ultimate.esm (not an esm file by the way ) at the bottom of your load order. Ensure it stays there! Use loot and give tpos a high global priority as shown in the below order.

Recommendations:
I highly recommended Vivid Weathers which I also heartily recommend. As well as the following:
Realistic Trees, USLEP.


Installation:
Install the mod via NMM. Do not let another mod overwrite the textures of this mod or it's meshes.

Uninstall
Uninstall the mod using NMM.

Known issues:
The scene with Sven and Hilde starts as Alvor returns to his house with Hadvar to discuss the attack at Helgen, for some reason there is a small delay?

Changes:
I have removed four objects from the game. The reasons are to improve fps and these vile creations suited that agenda. If you wish to re engage them just go into SSEEdit and delete the branch named 'tree' 
Go into creation kit, save the mod, exit and then run ssedit...Clean file...Done..

Version 7
Although many may be perplexed with the version number I had reached V6 + before I pulled the mod about a year ago.
So I now start with a new version number which reflects the history of this mod.


Questions and Answers:
Q:Why isn't TPOS compatible with alt start
A: Because I tried patching this mod again and again over the last year but it always affected performance,  I would have liked to use it too.

Q: Why do you not patch anymore?
A: Because I do not have the energy or the time. I gave this community all I had the first time round. I can only give you what I have now. Also, one mod maker will find a patch a lot easier and less stressful to make than me patching 100s... 

Q: I do not want to ruin my play through or upset the load order it took me ages to get it right!
A: When I want to try something new all I do is rename my meshes, texture files, scripts etc, meshes000, scripts000 and so on, something like that and then install the new mod and its meshes, textures, if applicable. Then I disable all mods but the one I want to use, ( untick in mainmenu, mod list ) the new one of course. Start a new game..Test...Then when I am satisfied I reverse the process re enable the mods and run loot...Done!
Or I build slowly around that mod adding the new files I think I can get away with. If it frustrates me I delete the f***er and go back to what I was doing!

Q: Why does it have to be activated after Helgen?
A: Why do you think? To avoid any potential conflicts. 


Final:
I intend to listen to reviews on the in-game features and add or adjust as required, for example,
I have added a sea battle or two in regards to the civil war. I will add more in time depending on performance reports and likeability. It is a lot of work for one off battles of about 2 minutes or so.
The same can be said for the new traps in the caves, dungeons, and ruins. I also feel the need to add some finishing touches to some of the towns, but again I await for feed back for now.

Until the new Elder Scrolls is released I will slowly add to the features of this complete version, including interiors and the DLCs. I will replace in time some of the features I removed when reshaping this file.

Until then I look forward to receiving your input on the mod and I hope you'll find it a pleasing experience.
