Very handy. Never much cared for getting dragged halfway across the hold for 40g infraction. Well done!
Edit: I've come across an odd thing. During the civil war quest cycle, as soon as I enter a friendly camp for the first time in a given hold, I get attacked. Every time. A simple workaround is to fastravel to the nearest town, punch a guard, and then pay the fine.
It's always 40g, which is what one usually pays for punching a guard, so the trigger event causing your allies to jump you has to be something else. Also, disabling this mod stops the behavior, gotta be this guy. Overall it's not a real issue, but it is a bug.
Well, thats odd. The way this mod works is that it modifies the scripts that are attached to the guard dialogues. So they shouldn't run at all when you aren't talking to the guards about paying the bounty. Especially since the vanilla game already contains scripts that do the same. You may have noticed, sometimes you don't teleport even if you don't use this mod - thats why. My scripts follow the same behavior. So I just can't imagine how could that happen.
Do you know if there is any conflict with RDO or Immersive Citizens? After killing a dragon attacking Riverwood I wound up in jail. The dragon killed the town drunk (I forget his name). The guard was looking at him, stood up and asked me what I know about it. I've never seen that happen with all the other dead bodies I've seen in skyrim. With this mod running I figured I was extra safe. Plus, I'm a thane and the Dragonborn you cretinous guard!! But when I lipped off to the guard he promptly arrested me, complete with teleport, no options offered. And then they completely forgot about me. When I broke out, got my gear and left it added a 200g bounty. And any interaction with a guard gets "wait, I know you" and then they walk away and I can get no other response. ???
Propably not related to these mods. The question the guard asked is in vanilla, but I never seen it happen with dragons. Anyways, I have to look at this dialogue because I didn't touched it and maybe there is something I missed, but from your description, you was sent to jail. This mod does not affect jails, only when you pay your bounties.
I never understood why the guards had to cart you off if you paid your fines on the spot. Thanks for this fix. Will come back to endorse as soon as the lock out is over.
