Version 2.43.01
Ha! See, what did I tell you. Well I was routing around in the esp, and noticed I hadn't changed over the "Blackened Dragonbone Greatsword" to a 1H'er. I wanted to leave it two handed, because I thought it might be fun to still have a 2H'd version in the mod, but it didn't like that... so I changed it over to a 1H'r as well, and fixed everything up in it to make it a match to your new twin blade.
Now when you get it from that certain special someone, you can wield it normally. I've also added a grindstone recipe for it, so you can now temper it! Fun right?
Do you need this update? Only if you want the non conjured item to be one handed (and appear, because there's a bug that makes it invisible otherwise, but yeah, nothing says fun like 2H Greatsword kill camming people with an invisible sword!).
Just a note, added in a dagger version of the main file under the optional section. Only one of the files is required for play. The dagger version is what it sounds like, instead of a sword it'll be a dagger for all you sneaky sneaky types out there.
Keep in mind, the dagger version has less reach, and less base damage than the sword version, but it will play nice with all the "dagger only" perks out there, so I'm sure this'll be fine. xD
Version 2.43
First release, the version number matches up with the original mod, A Sword Accursed. Any changes from this point forward will be denoted in the .xx after A Sword Accursed's version number, so the next entry would be 2.43.01. I'm hoping I won't make a hundred changes beyond the release here, but I might find things!
This version has the one handed black sword, disenchantable pariah armor items, and a lessened health enchantment on the chest piece "Sanguine Vigor" enchantment.
This mod was made for my own personal tastes. I loved A Sword Accursed by s0680535, but in most of my playthroughs I found the fact that it was a two handed weapon was too limiting. I was also annoyed, often, by when I'd forget to feed the thing and it'd be weaker than a wooden sword!
This mod alleviates the problem by turning the sword into a one handed weapon, thus allowing you, when desperate, to wield it along with a spell, so you can smack the enemy with it and blow them to kingdom come. Ofc, there are tons of other nifty things about it being one handed. Shields, offhand heals, and...
DUAL WIELDING IT! Yes, that's right, you can now wield two of this bad mofo!
Also, a couple minor tweaks to its speed and power to make it still make sense as a one handed weapon. It won't be as slow or as powerful as the two handed version. Speaking of tweaks, I also tweaked the Sanguine Vigor enchantment, it was a bit much (like, you can't die with it on). I also made all the enchantments learn-able, so now you can put'm on other fun things. Finally, I altered the temper recipe of the chest piece to be a single ebony ingot, and added a temper recipe for the arcane warrior gauntlets (cus there wasn't one). Why make the temper easier? Because really it's just ebony armor with a sweet enchant, no reason to make it hard to temper (yes yes, less lore neatness... but the sword man, the sword!).
And that's it. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot'm my way. According to s0680535, all I needed for permission was to give credit. Well, he made A Sword Accursed, original. Totes that guy. I'm just a pleeb that thought I'd share my version for funsies. Peace!
Requirements:
Skyrim Legendary (or you know, all the DLC's... well you can get away without having Hearthfire...) SKSE (how can you not have this? most recent plz)
Recommended:
Lean Wolf's Better Shaped Weapons (makes for the sexy, but not really required)
P.S. My version number is the version of A Sword Accursed I modified, for ease of understanding going forward.
P.P.S. There's also a dagger version under the optional section. Only need that or the main file. If you do happen to download both, whichever is later in the load order would take priority, so you'd effectively only have one installed. :3
