Most of the liturgical and religious locations in Skyrim boast a proper shrine to complement their respective deity and
facilitate communion, however many of these sacred locations inexplicably have no shrine. Many of the Gods/Daedra/Aedra of Skyrim have shrine locations, yet when you go there you discover that they have no actual shrines to speak of. Perhaps it is because they are not part of the traditional Nine Divines that their holy centers have been neglected, or because most of them are classified as Daedra. Whatever the reason, Complete Shrines attempts to remedy this by adding the missing shrines into these locations, and in some cases by also adding additional religious iconography that is appropriate for the respective deity. The new content has been allocated to already existing shrine locations, i.e. no new shrine locations have been added*, making content compatibility for the most part an unlikely concern, and hopefully providing a more immersive atmosphere while still maintaining a natural feel.

New shrines act and behave exactly like vanilla shrines do, providing seamless integration into the world. They cure disease and confer a unique blessing relative to their prospective deity. New shrine blessings are different but on par with the vanilla shrine blessings. No new locations have been added*, simply all the vanilla shrine locations in Skyrim that were missing proper shrines have been given them. The new shrines have unique new art renderings appropriate to the deity in question.
Shrine of Clavicus Vile: Speechcraft improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Namira: Conjuration spells improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Meridia: Restoration spells improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Malacath: Two-Handed weapons do additional damage for 8 hours.
Shrine of Peryite: Immune to Disease for 8 hours.
Shrine of Vaermina: Illusion spells improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon: Destruction Spells improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Mephala* : Missile Weapons do 10% more damage for 8 hours.
Shrine of Hircine: Stamina Regeneration is improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Hermaeus Mora: Alteration Spells improved by 10% for 8 hours.
Shrine of Molag Bal: Sneak skill is improved by 10% for 8 hours.
* The Shrine of Mephala has been changed. Instead of the default blessing of improved barter which is already available
in 2 other shrines, the Blessing of Mephala now improves Archery damage by 10% for 8 hours. The vanilla artwork design on the face of the shrine has also been improved. These changes incorporate all Shrines of Mephala, including the default Solstheim Shrine of Mephala.
In addition to shrines, religious icons and paraphernalia have been added in some cases. Religious banners, Holy Books,
Altars, Icons, Religious Portraits and other items have been allocated to certain areas. These additions have been added appropriately and for the most part very sparingly to create a higher level of immersion while also maintaining a mostly vanilla feel for the added content. All items and objects have been added seamlessly into the world, and offer no conflicts with either navmeshing, NPCs or quests.
*As was previously stated, no new shrine locations have been added, that is with the exception of the New Gnisis Cornerclub which now has the three shrines of the Tribunal at that location. The New Gnisis Cornerclub has been expanded and now has a basement area which contains a new Shrine of Azura, a Shrine of Boethiah, and a Shrine of Mephala, providing the local Dunmer inhabitants of the Grey Quarter a religious outlet.
