OLDRIM VERSION HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED Therefore, any bugs that are found will remain unfixed (unless it's related to the updated 1.091RE installer). I am no longer working on Oldrim versions of my mods.
However, the latest and most updated version of the mod will be available exclusively on Special Edition only.
FORUM GUIDELINES I shouldn't have to remind users to be civil, as it is one of the rules in Nexus's forum guidelines.
Criticism is welcome, but I will not tolerate comments that insult me personally, my mods, or other users.
Snow Elf Skins If the skin tones of my snow elves are not to your liking, you can replace them with your own textures. See the Customization section of my mod description for instructions on how to do this.
Regarding SG Hairs Pack 350 - I can't provide a link to it here, but you can find it by searching for "SG Hair 350" on Google. If you can't find it then you didn't try hard enough because it's LITERALLY one of the first three results on Google. If you somehow truly can't find it (which I find hard to believe), then there's nothing else I can do to help you. - I'LL NEVER REMOVE SG HAIRS AS A REQUIREMENT, SO IF YOU ASK ME TO I'LL DELETE YOUR POST
These skin tones aren't lore friendly, they break my immersion, peepee poopoo skin tone bad etc If my falmer skin tones are not to your liking, you can change them by replacing my mod's textures. Instructions on how to do this are under the Customization section of the mod description.

You are most likely missing a requirement. Read through the installation guide again and make sure you installed every requirement needed for the mod to function. If you installed any plugins or patches, you must make sure their requirements are installed, too.

You are missing the Snow Elf SOS Plugin. You need both SOS/SOS Light and the Snow Elf SOS Plugin if you want your male snow elves to have genitals. If you have the Snow Elf SOS Plugin installed, and your Snow Elf males still have holes in their crotches, you may need to manually-apply their schlongs. Make sure to apply the Snow Elf schlong.

The vanilla beards are clipping into my male snow elf's face!

You need to install Ethereal Elven Overhaul and the EEO USLEEP Update by Sakr3d. This mod uses Nuska's elven headmorphs, which are incompatible with vanilla beards. Without Ethereal Elven Overhaul's beard tweaks and the USLEEP update, most vanilla beards will clip through the faces of male snow elves.
You seem to have SOS (Schlongs of Skyrim) ? When installing the skin patcher (you downloaded it ,right ?) When prompted,Do not install SOS light plugin, even if you have SOS light,Install the SOS plugin instead.
Also this comes without saying but you must have CBBE or UUNP in your modlist. Ah,if you want more beautiful elves use :- 1. The Pure 2. Ethereal Elven Overhaul 3. Elves facegens fix (do install it,EEO crashes with Ancient Falmer installed unless you use this as well)
DID THIS SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM ? OR WAS IT SOLVED AGES AGO ?
No, my immersion isn't broken, yes the faces are cute, you put in a lot of effort not gonna lie.
Okay, now to the point which is "There is a mod conflict between Race Compatibility & Ancient Falmer" So, which should i PUT first ? put first as in load before the other one.
Why is it so hard to get ahold of you there's no way to direct message you anyway do you still make some mods for classic Skyrim I was hoping you would at least consider making a ancient Falmer dagger??? PS love your work.
Nexus Mods Forums are down, so private messaging is unavailable until the site devs introduce the new forum. I do not make mods for Skyrim LE anymore. I don't have it installed and I deleted everything related to it on my PC so I think it's safe to say I will never touch LE ever again.
On the bright side, there is already an Ivory Glass Dagger in the mod. I also recommend Occiglacies - Ancient Falmer Blade if you want something more unique.
Why this race and the dwemer one are not in the first page of the most downloads races ? with respect I think some races are very high in downloads and others like this are very low for what they deserve, I mean... play with the ancient snow elf and the mysterious dwemers ? that is what a fan of elder scrolls should want and not invented races, at least I think that xD.The only negative point that I give to this mod is the outdated version in the legendary edition and updated in the special edition :l
I haven't updated my LE mods for ages (and I don't plan to) so it's not surprising my mods aren't popular on LE Nexus. I think it's a different story on SSE Nexus though. I am thankful to my mod users for making my race mods appear at the top of any Google or Nexus search.
On anothee note, there are few reasons to stay on LE in my opinion. It's very time-intensive to maintain a mod across two versions of a game, especially when one version is objectively superior in performance and quality. I dont want to support a game I don't play.
Well, my reason to keep in the legendary version is basically comfort, because I have like 300 mods downloaded and I dont want start again and re-download all etc etc, and if I want better textures or something I have a bunch of mods for that here in nexus, so I dont need download sse, and im not a modder so I cant understand what hard is create a mod in this version or have two versions updating, but I can understand of course your motives and I respect your decision, but it sucks when happen this in worth mods D: actually happens with a bunch of mods and it is what it is, but well, at least I can see that you have 2 mins answering people here even if you dont create more content in this version, much more than others modders do, many thanks for the mods and the reply!
Moving from LE to SSE wasn't so bad for me, personally. I had maybe over 700 mods in my load order when I moved, and I don't regret moving. Most mods will work in SSE straight out of the box from LE. You only really have to 1: convert any LE meshes and facegen meshes (can be done with the push of a button), and 2: replace/convert any plugins or mods, especially those that use SKSE. Texture mods from LE will certainly work fine in SSE, so you don't have to worry about them. It takes a bit of organization but 300 mods really isn't much in terms of migrating to SSE.
In any case, thanks for understanding, and I hope you'll move to SSE one day so you can enjoy all the great mods that have been blossoming on the SSE Nexus :)
It is extremely taxing on my sanity to maintain several versions of my mods at the same time. If I support LE, then my workflow will begin in the LE CK, which is incredibly slow and prone to crashes. SSE's modding tools are faster, more efficient and more advanced. It's extremely chaotic and time-consuming to keep track of both versions of my 2 mods, and I just don't have the time or patience anymore to suppor both. Sorry.
But at the same time from what ik certain bugs exist in se that don’t in le so i can understand some people not being happy as to mod authors dropping support for le but i do understand where your coming from so no complaints from me if anything thanks to your mods instructions i got another mod i have been using to function with better vampires
Hi I downloaded this awhile ago got every mod required for it to run and when I launch the game it immediately crashes to my desktop with out even showing the Bethesda logo any idea why this would happening?
Hello, this sounds like a problem unrelated to my mod. Please double check if you have all my mod's requirements installed, and make sure you installed SKSE correctly.
For a few weeks, I unpublished both of my race mods in protest against the sweeping changes that the Nexus made in regards to a mod author's right to delete their content. I initially condemned these actions, believing them to be unfair. However, after reading many arguments for and against mod-permanence on the Nexus, I came to the conclusion that I was wrong to condemn the new changes.
I now believe that mod-permanence on the Nexus is the cornerstone to the Cathedral Concept (AKA open-source modding), a modding philosophy that I benefitted from. I would not have been able to make either of my race mods if the mod authors whose assets I borrowed weren't open-source in some capacity.
Therefore, I decided to republish my mods instead of following suit with the likes of other mod authors who pulled their content from this website. I believe that deleting one's content is damaging to the modding community, as it suddenly and often times, without warning, deprives mod users of the mods they've been using for years, screwing up their entire load orders. It is for this reason that the Nexus believes in mod-permanence via archiving, a feature they are introducing to support their mod-pack system.
This system allows users to curate and install entire mod builds without fear of losing a mod and consequently breaking their mod list, because some mod author decided one day to wipe their content from the internet.
I believe that this system is the best way moving forward, as it makes modding more accessible to users. Mod authors must swallow their pride and accept that the future for modding is brighter when our work is easier to access and build upon. This future cannot be achieved if mod authors are allowed to delete their content permanently.

When I unpublished my mods, I stated that I was restructuring their assets to prepare for the introduction of mod-packs by Nexus Mods. Mod-packs are predicted to increase the amount of downloads that mods get, and I wanted to benefit from this increase by opting my mods into the Donation Points Program.
To do this, many assets were completely-removed, or moved to a separate file on the Nexus: The Ancient Falmer Patch Center. These assets include the various texture patches, the Ethereal Elven Overhaul meshes, meshes, and the BVLT Plugin.
I completely-removed all Ethereal Elven Overhaul assets from my mod, as the usage permissions that its mod author wrote are contradictory, poorly-written, and overall dangerous for me to use. Many of the skin options in the newly-assembled Skin Patcher do not allow me to opt-into the DP program, so to save me a lot of trouble, I just moved them all to the Patch Center. The mod author of the BVLT plugin also does not allow me to opt-in, so it was moved to the Patch Center as well.
After removing those assets from my main mod, the assets that I was left with in the main installer are assets that I've secured expressed permission to use and earn DP's with, or either have unrestrictive permissions or no written permissions at all (in both cases, I've credited the sources of said assets to the best of my ability).
With all this asset-sourcing, removing, relocating, and repacking, I can finally opt both of my race mods into the Donation Points Program.
