About this mod
Adds "Night Eye" to the player. It has no timer so it's always on until the shout is used again to turn it off (so it's a toggle). Also removes the blurring.
- Permissions and credits
The existing “Night Eye” power is automatically added to the player, no matter their race. Instead of deactivating after one minute the ability remains active until such a time that the player uses the power again to dispel it, and it can be used repeatedly rather than once daily. The double-vision effects have been removed so it’s virtually crystal clear. Suffice to say, it will affect any character which already has the ability. This will work harmoniously with proper voice powers; turn it on, creep up behind an unsuspecting Legionary in the dead black of the night, shout him apart and then turn it back off.
This works fine on Legendary but I cannot speak for Special Edition. It would only conflict with mods which edit the original ability, it does nothing else other than that so it should be compatible with pretty much everything. No custom scripts, only original ones will be called. It should be save-friendly, so uninstalling it ought return the power to default without a problem. It has not been tested with a vampire or beast, I have no idea if there would be any problems with such abominations in the event it is used alongside their own night eye abilities.
Note that the image I provided is with Realistic Lighting active so it is literally pitch-black otherwise. While the actual effects of the ability are unchanged aside of removing the blur; the level of detail, colour and specularity might differ depending upon graphics settings, ENB profile and any general changes to lighting, fog or shadows - so the picture may not appropriately exemplify its use.
