Make your own Parallax strenght take the base subtle version and edit contrast, save as dtx1 (use paint.net for instance for it has the dds support at start). More contrast: stronger parallax
try with parallax and without I like both versions, if u want them more flat remove normalmaps and parallax (sstonefloor_n and _p)
I wanted to release a wet mesh with parallax on but there is one issue that I am trying to solve
EDIT: there will be meshes for this so u will a very wet stone with strong parallax never seen before on nexus, stating the fact nobody put good amount of spec on parallax yet. Grass needs to be made too
Hi, lucidstorm1 ! Your textures are very nice! But could you please provide meshes for your textures? Because I don't getting the parallax effect - the surface is completely flat:

I have very heavy mod set (over 1000) with many texture/meshes mods (such as the "SCTP - Skyrim Community Texture Project" and many other) and simply can not figure out what parallax meshes is needed for your textures. Even if they must be vanilla I need the names so that I could create an override.
hi, I've seen your message now, I was about to upload meshes and got permission and all (from solitude museum authors), but parallax in this area causes the level to break (mismatch), its very odd behavior and could not be fixed if not with remaking the whole city, there is a transparent line, you can't just releaese a mod like that I might go back to it and add a few meshes with parallax since I will be replaying skyrim - in this area only near palace and on top of the tower you can add parallax and in places where I shot images -that's it
Nice work! Another set of stone that could use your Parallax magic is the road inside of Whiterun. It has a similar look to Solitude's stonefloor here but is quite bland/flat & resides in its own folder. Gave this my endorsement not too long ago.
I think Pfuscher did the best road + parallax , still jaw dropping for me. I don't want to try to supersede that in any way since it's the best thing I ever saw. It has hand painted parallax, great normals, and the texture is super detailed. Top of the top, it even fits the city
I am looking more into the stony elements, uncovered by mods, stairs are ''cut'' by greenish stones, and stairs are greenish as well, the walls interior perhaps too. You know what I mean? Would be cool if I managed to do something decent there... will see

This mod is a study of parallax
