I lost total vision in one eye as you may have known and am now loosing it in the other eye. I am at the point I have to use text to speech programs to read things. I HATE IT. I am very sorry for those who are looking forward to further work and updates but it is not possible any more. I had a blast making mods and it was a a very rewarding experience. I will continue to keep my mods available for use. As for the Mods I have PORTED, any further work and updates will have to be by the Original Author if they with to do so. If there is anyone who would like to take the reins of my work and continue to further what my Dream was for the Dark Skyrim Overhaul series, please contact me for further information. Sorry I haven't been working on my mods for a while. About a month ago, I lost my vision in my right eye. I developed a Retinal Vein Occlusions. What that means is there is a blockage in the main vein in the Optic Nerve and its causing the blood vessels in the retina to burst causing the loss of vision. It is usually caused by high blood pressure or high cholesterol. But, I am healthy, have good blood pressure, don't have high cholesterol, I workout with a personal trainer 3 to 4 times a week and eat a pretty clean healthy balanced diet. The doctors are confused and have no answers yet since I am 41 and healthy. It could be hereditary (Thanks Dad). I am now going to see a hematologist to see if there is anything else wrong with my blood such as a possible high clotting factor which could cause the blockage and stroke in my eye. I also have to get eye injections (OUCH OUCH OUCH) every few weeks to try to get rid of the swelling in my retina, prevent retinal detachment and help speed up healing. It will probably take a many injections and up to a few months before I see any results. I just hope the damage is not permanent. So, as of right now, I can only see out of my left eye. Its pretty hard to adjust and function because it's my non-dominant eye. But I am learning to adapt.
As far as the mods go, I was in the middle of a project involving a retex of all the foods and ingredients that are in bowls such as soups, salts, and so on. I will do my best to work on it and try to finish it as best I can. It is hard to focus and see clearly with just one eye. The project will just be delayed a bit now. Sorry folks. I'm doing my best.
I appreciate everyone for giving my textures a try. Thank you for all the comments and endorsements. My work is not finished. I will not give up. I will find a way to keep modding. I enjoy this work and enjoy being a part of the community.
Why the title says 'simple sacks', since it's the re-texture and probably more complicated than the original? Doesn't make any sense, and it looks like a click bait. I honestly thought this was somekind of script mod that let the sack searching becomes more simple. You should named it 'better sacks' or something.
WOW!!! I'm amused by what people will complain about these days. I don't know what to say, but the name stays. SIMPLE as that for a SIMPLE mod with some SIMPLE re-textures of some SIMPLE sacks. ;-) My wife wanted me to name it Premarital Sacks but Simple Sacks won out.
Thank you. Glad you like them. I guess I need to make it more clear in the description. You can use these with out Hearthfire but you won't get the sack of flour textures. Thanks for bringing that up.
Thanks. When I get time, will fix that. Does it have any negative effects of the game if I don't change it? I'm' asking just for the sake of learning and for my knowledge.
No, just twice the vram usage. 5,4 instead of 2,7mb (2k) or 1,3 instead of 0,6 (1k), not that dramatic :-) btw I only meant the diffuse: floursack.dds not the _n.dds
