**UPDATED**
See Changelog for details. I feel confident enough in the structure of this mod to no longer call it a beta version.

It was always curious how only the PC and Lokir were in prisoner's rags. The Stormcloaks are sitting there - fully armoured... and the Empire took the time to make the Player and Lokir change in to prison clothes??
Then, there are the items given to the PC throughout the opening quest. Why is Hadvar/Ralof carrying a dozen lockpicks, especially when it seems neither of them have any clue how to pick a lock.
Also, why give the PC a bow and arrow - after a combat scene with at least two archers?

If the player wants to be a thief, there are lockpicks laying around the torture room.
If the player wants to be an archer, there are plenty of bows available before leaving the pool room.
Finally, why does a non-mage character know any spells at all??

It's time for a Clean Start!

Description:

Small changes have been made to the Opening Scene and the Main Quest: Unbound.
1) Lokir and the PC are now dressed in common level clothes, instead of Prisoner Outfits.
2) The starting spells have been removed from the PC.
3) The script events that force add items to your inventory have been turned off. Hadvar/Ralof will no longer give you lockpicks or a bow and arrow.
4) The barracks room of Helgen Keep has been reworked to allow the Player to equip himself as he desires.
Two variants of two-handed weapons
       Two variants of one-handed weapons
Longbow with a quiver of arrows
Two chests added, with four complete armor sets; Light Imperial, Heavy Imperial, Light Armor and Iron Armor

And - - A mage's corner! For equipping a Mage character, two spelltomes from each school have been placed. I did not include robes, as those are available from the dead mage in the Torture room.

Remember to endorse if you enjoyed the changes.

Known Issues:
For some reason, the game still adds the prisoner outfit to the PC Inventory, though it never gets equipped.
Just use the Player.RemoveItemXXXXXXXX console command to clear the items.
**I will upload a new version with this fixed when I'm back to my laptop.**

Changelog:  Moved to Menu Bar; select Changes Icon

Compatibility:
This should only conflict with mods that alter the opening scene or the script for MQ101.

Installation:
Download with the mod manager of choice and install accordingly.
Manual: Extract the Data folder and paste into the Skyrim folder.

Updating:
Copy the new files over the old ones.

Uninstallation:
Delete the .esp

>>I'm including the source code and .pex file for the Vanilla MQ101 fragment. Those are in the "Vanilla" folder. Paste back into Skyrim/Data/Scripts to override the script changes.

Future Plans:
Working on basic Mage Staves to fill out the Mage's Corner
Reviving the "Open Lock"  spell. (Why did they even take that one out??)
