Yeah, the dialogues don't work, since you forgot to generate the SEQ file. AFAIK that has to be done if you set the quest as "Start game enabled", you should fix that. (https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Quest_Data_Tab) Alternatively, don't set the dialogue quest to run at start, and make a new, dummy quest that runs at start, whose only purpose will be jump-starting the dialogue quest :D That's way easier.

But aside from that, it's a brilliant joke-y mod. I was going to complain about the realism of it, but then I saw a chiken with a hood, and suddenly all my worries regarding Argonians living in a wreck submerged in icy cold water were gone. They obviously know what they are doing.

Also I might have found a few typos in the cuineform... the text reads

For ther always be a somg for you, a snack, a smile, perhaps even much more

oh if only i got to touch it
the shne of the oh mirror her face is t
    give me oh
    back freedom

Unless I messed something up with the translation (damn cool idea, too bad cuneiform doesn't translate perfectly one-to-one with latin alphabet!)...

Anyone knows if this is compatible with Northern Encounters?

After a lot of regional exploring I discovered you can actually walk most of the way there without needing to swim. You'll get your legs wet a bunch... but some of the sandbars are shallow enough that you won't submerge.

The area right near the giant ice shelf is too deep to traverse without swimming though... so Frostfall users beware. Be prepared to build a fire and get warm.

THe settlement itself is just the quaintest little place. Feels so natural in the location too (if you accept that Argonians don't freeze to death as readily as weak humans).

It also works fine after I converted up to SSE... so theres that.

Thanks again for the neat mod Jokerine.

Hey TheLoreSeeker! I was wondering if you could send the file of the converted SSE file of this mod? Much appreciated thank you

I saw the Hodi video and thought to myself, why would anyone decide to stay up where they will freeze to death? After coming to Nexus, I realized it was a Jokerine mod. INSTA-DOWNLOAD!

I hope you are well, looking forward to this!

    Hello,

First off thanks for this, yet another wonderful mod with your usual attention to detail. I am feeling kind of dumb, I read the story etc. but I am wondering how /whether I am supposed to be able to interact with the NPCs here ?? I seem to have no dialog choices for anyone and I can't figure out if there's something I am supposed to do or some condition I need to meet for anyone to 'talk' to me. The description says they have roles but ...

Also totally unrelated but thought I'd mention that everyone was dressed when I 'COW 36 36'd there to check this out, but when I later fast-traveled to the spot the one character was not dressed. Not sure if that is of any help, just an observation. Also my horse (as expected of course of course) came along - I can't recall if there's a way for that to be prevented or whether anyone really cares (not I - but again, thought I'd mention)

As I said in the description if noone speaks just save the game and reload. The dialogue should work then.

The naked guy has his clothes but just hasn't equipped then. I mentioned the fix a few posts below - just hire him, give or take something from his inventory, and he'll equip his stuff. You can dismiss him afterwards and add the gold back to yourself with the console if you wanna. There is a trigger box surrounding the ship that is supposed to make this work, and you should ideally not teleport yourself there because then the trigger may not catch you. The idea is to get there the old way, you know? Even then, you know how modding these games is. You can make the simplest mod that puts something in Riverwood and you'll have someone report it didn't work

As for the horse, I don't think there is any way to prevent that, sorry. You may just want to park your horse on the floes while you interact with the lizards there

Sorry I must have read that earlier when I first DL'd and then forgot about it when I got a chance to check/test it today - oops. I saved / restarted the game and I have dialog choices now. I did manage to see the other post about what to do re: re-dressing .. interesting about that trigger that it works using cow but not fast travel (well at least the one time for me) - in any event I get to continue feeling dumb because the solution to the dialog was right there in the first sentence of that paragraph and in my senility I forgot about it and also forgot to go back and re-read things. Anyhow thanks again for this, I love the book, story, related items etc. and thanks for putting up with my derpiness and responding and again (and of course) thanks for everything.

Awesome! The place is fantastic! Finally a nice little settlement for other argonians.

EDIT: also, just to say in case you want to keep track of it: Smites-and Slashes was naked for me, other than a robe and hood. He never equip anything my whole visit there. Though, I could just use console commands to force clothes on him if I need to.

could be because you are using Clothing and Clutter Fixes with another mod that conflicts with it.

You don't need to use the console. The guy has the clothes in his inventory, just hasn't equipped them. That's what the trigger is supposed to do. If it doesn't work, you can hire him, access his inventory and maybe take something - such as his unique ring - and then give it back to him. His clothes will show up. Then you can dismiss him and add the gold to your inventory again with the console if you want.

I meant to use the console to make him equip them. Though, just using his inventory would definitely be much faster. Thank you!
