Preferably they should be, but I tried this (vanilla version) in SE and there was no CTD's. Hope this is true for the SFO-version I'm downloading now too... I'd love to see a proper port! ^_^
EDiT: That one worked like a charm too at a quick glance, haven't been to Bruma or Falskaar yet. Not sure if this causes any lag with the meshes etc. being in older formats but, it works!
I've been using this for a while and just wanted to say that if you want to take it to the next level, use the latest version of the Rudy ENB, with the newest ENB file (.422). It looks phenomenal.
This is by far one of my favorite mods and an essential one once I used. Can't play without it, you did an amazing work with this, it really makes The Riften alot more enjoyable. Do you have any suggestion on any other mod that kinda do this but with the other trees and places, like the trees in Falkreath or Solitude, or are you planing on doing something like this with the other trees/grass later? Not adding more trees but changing the colors.
Hi!: thanks a lot for replying, as amazing as it looks the "All dead trees" is not what I'm looking for; I like the idea of a more dense forest, actually I have a mod that makes the trees biggers that help me with what I like and works amazing with this mod too (Skyrim bigger trees). I've never used Dyndolod yet; for what I see it looks good, but don't know if my potato pc will work with that, as long as it doesn't affect performance (still gonna try it later sometime). I didn't really though about a color, but now that you ask I'm wondering how would the pines would look like red or purple, anything not green could be nice to see.
Can I take this as confirmation that this mod and Skysight - Simply Bigger Trees are compatible? I really want to download this mod but don't know if I should download the 3D Trees or the 2D ones, I do plan on using DynDOLOD along with this mod. Would appreciate your suggestion :)
Hi!: I actually use Skyrim Bigger Trees instead of the Skysight, the reasons are given in the mod page (check for the description). Here's the link to that mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17168/ Take a look and decide for yourself wich one to use. May the force be with you.
I was waiting for this update, this is my favorite version of Riften forest out of all mods out there. Thank you so much, will be loading this in asap. Much love <3

Infinite Loading screen: You are running out of memory.Using Crash Fixes mod helps with this issue
Mod causing CTD: this is a LOAD ORDER issue. Make sure to run loot and wrye bash and follow the instructions on the main page compatibility questions.
customization: In general, any changes to this mod will have to be done by you in CK or TES5Edit.
ONLY INSTALL ONE MAIN FILE
3D LODs are ONLY for the 2D tree version. Do not use them with the 3D tree version/Mathy79's trees
Core Files plus Billboards are for combining this mod with other tree mods. DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen required

Edit: Nvm, I figured out how to use Dyndolod. I dont know why people make it sound so complicated it took 6 minutes to learn to use.

I would.be interested to hear what colors you had in mind for the pine trees
