Long since abandoned by its mysterious owner, Cloudshelter is a cozy and well-furnished player home located just outside the city of
Bruma, between the eastern gate and the stables.

Installation

Mod Orginiser or Nexus Mod Manager:

Click "download with manager" or download thearchive manually. Then activate. Make sure CloudshelterHome.Esp and Bsa are
in your Data folder after installing if you are not sure.

Manual (Not Recommended)
Download and unzip the archive, and place all contents in your Skyrim/Data folder. Make sure CloudshelterHome.Esp and Bsa are in your Data folder.

Uninstall (Very Not Recommended!)

First make sure to take everything from Cloudshelter you want to keep, then either deactivate or uninstall from Mod Organiser or NMM. If you installed manually, delete CloudshelterHome.Esp and Bsa from your Data folder.

How do I get in?

When you first find Cloudshelter it will be locked, as well as a note explaining that the previous occupant, Chrysaor, has been missing for
several months. You will have to find him to get the key and unlock the house.

The key can be found on the edge of a fountain besides two charred bodies, south-east of Cloud Ruler Temple. The best route is to follow
the path into the western mountains from The Sentinel.

Known Issues Q&A

Q: I can’t access the Treasures chest!

A: This is a known issue with General Displays that the developer was unable to fix before they abandoned development. The only known fix is to uninstall Cloudshelter, reload and save, then reinstall Cloudshelter and load that save again. You can also try to move or copy the container using Jaxxon’s Utilities, but I don’t recommend this as it could also break it forever.

Q: I put my items into the Treasures chest, but nothing happened!
A: Give it time. General Displays may take a minute to load everything, depending on how script-intensive your game is. Also make sure the only items in that chest are unique items.

Q: I keep crashing / having low FPS while looking at the Treasure safe at the desk!
A: This is a known issue, mainly caused by ENBs or other graphical enhancements. Try turning it off, or avoid using high resolution
textures and models for gold coins. Could be replaced with a normal safe if I can't optimise it.

Q: There are lighting issues on the upper floor and besides the downstairs fire.
A: Looking into it, but again your ENB and other enhancements may be exasperating it.

Q: The mannequin moved!
A: This is a bug with Skyrim itself, and can be exasperated if you use loads of scripts. It should reset itself automatically or when you
next renter Cloudshelter.

General Q&A

Q: Why is there only an oven and not a cooking pot?

A: Cyrodiil is famed for its pastries and breads, with the previous owner loving Beef Pasties! However if demand is strong enough then I will consider adding a cooking pot as well.

Q: Why are there no weapon displays?
A: Simply because there was not enough good space to put any after all the General Display content. Again I will reconsider this if demand is strong enough.

Q: Can you add a display for the Champion of Kvatch’s cuirass?
A: Can't.

Q: Why is Cloudshelter so small?
A: Because Beyond Skyrim: Bruma’s interior tileset for the houses are just 2 pieces. I also didn’t want to add load doors for different
rooms.

Q: Why is Cloudshelter outside the city?
A: Chrysaor couldn’t get planning permission for inside the city.

Q: Who was Chrysaor?
A: My main character in Skyrim. I’ve played him since I hadthe game on PS3, then ported the saves over to PC and continue to play him.

Q: Who was Vurys?
A: My secondary character in Skryim, who was only used toplay my first run of Dawnguard.

Q: Is this really your first ever mod for Skyrim?
A: Yes.

Q: What ENB do you use?
A: Vividian ENB with normal settings.

Q: Will you port Cloudshelter to Skyrim: Special Edition?
A: Never. Sorry but I don’t play SE at all, and I won’t mod something I will never play. Plus at the moment Bruma is not available for SE, so I couldn’t even if I wanted to.
