    This is THE BEST mod on Skyrim Nexus. The seams next to the roads have always annoyed the crap out of me. No more seams!! Whoohooo!!!!

    Awesome Job!!! Great Mod!!

    I'm not quite sure what this mod actually does. It's a road retexture, I guess? The pictures also lack comparisons to vanilla. Yes, I've found the one there is, but it changes back and forth so ridiculously fast, that you can't actually look at any details. Also, I can't tell which one is vanilla and which one is with this mod enabled.

    In my humble opinion and as genuine advice, I'd suggest separate screenshots of the same spot with vanilla and the different options. That way, comparison is actually possible; and it's also easier to see what the mod actually does.

      You should get an award for the most unhelpful reply, lol.

      And I'm afraid that's also not how things work. Imagine you'd have to download and play with every mod to find out what it does... yeah, no. ^^

      There are no mods on the Nexus for Skyrim that one can't figure out before installing them. It's just not a thing.

      In your case, take a screen shot of a road in your game. Then install this mod and take another screen shot of the same road. Then decide if you like the old road or the new road better. This mod can be added/removed as often as needed during a game.

      Other factors will be ENB used and road textures used. But you will still be able to tell the difference with this mod installed or not.

      Exactly. Except this one. Yet, you are trying to tell me that's normal.

      Well see; if I'm actually required to do that to find out what it actually does, this IS "a mod that one can't figure out before installing them". Which is what I wanted to point out with my initial post. See it as a PSA. After all, I'd imagine any mod author would want it to be clear what their mod does, and at best also make a convincing argument why their mod is awesome and people should be using it.

      Quite often I personally have found  that people who don't say what the (a) difference is cannot do so. Else why write 20 times more than  the explanation would require?

    It seems Wrye Bash determines this is mergable, but I don't know if any of the effects are taking place when merged. Does anyone know if having the bashed patch with this plugin merged causes it to still work alright?

    I was playing today and tought "meh the 3d roads looked so much better but there was this hiccup problem too bad" "let's check blended roads again"
    "Version 1.42 3D roads got a new collision, no hitching anymore" woohoo !!!! thanks a lot

    what does this mod do ? give you the best looking roads of all nexus (3d real version) roads that feel integrated to the world not a flat picture and the 3d version looks like the rocks are really that not just a drawn shape of a rock awesome :D

    Hey man,
    we have a little problem when use Wrye Bash:

    BlendedRoads.esp:
    Wrye Bash SSE expects a newer format for STAT.DNAM than found.
    Load and save BlendedRoads.esp with the Skyrim SE CK
    STAT.DNAM: Expected size == 12, but got: 8
    Error loading 'STAT' record and/or subrecord: 000B23F3
    eid = u'RoadChunkL02Snow'
    subrecord = 'DNAM'
    subrecord size = 8
    file pos = 363
    Error in BlendedRoads.esp

    (Skyrim crash when loading a save)

    Was there a 1.43 version that was up in July? Because I have one labeled as such, and it has weird stripey issues in-game. Should I revert to 1.42?

    I think your SMIM bridges are the only ones that fix that godawful trim blending right. I checked a half dozen or so random mods on there. The road meshes from this are invisible for me in game, though the bridges are 11/10 perfect.
