About this mod

A lightweight ENB designed for CoT (Climates Of Tamriel) focusing on beautiful but subtle imagery, softer shadows, and a better looking 3rd Person view. Easily configurable, and also works perfectly with Purity, ELFX Weathers, Vivid Weathers, Vanilla and other Weather Systems.

Permissions and credits
In short, this is a lightweight ENB originally designed for Climates Of Tamriel (CoT), but it has been tested with Purity, ELFX Weathers, Vivid Weathers and Vanilla... and works perfectly with those as well.

FPS/Performance wasn't a concern in development, but surprisingly this ENB is so lightweight you don't take a noticeable hit. It focuses on creating a soft atmosphere, shadows and lighting with very slight contrast and vibrancy tweaks to enhance your visuals without making them so over-saturated things look unrealistic and cartoony.

Interiors and dungeons will adjust based on what weather and lighting mods you choose to install.

I've taken a lot of time re-vamping this ENB Preset with respect to S.T.E.P. and also with not wanting to change too many aspects of
the game or the intended look and feel some of the weather and lighting mods these developers took such great time and effort into making.
It was my goal to simply make/translate their work into an ENB, adjust it if I have to, enhance it if it was necessary, and leave it alone
if doing so made the result better.

Download my Main Files and READ THE STICKY in my Posts about tweaking SSENB Settings

0. DELETE any leftover from other ENB presets!!

1. Copy my Main File to your Skyrim directory (where TESV.exe is located), click yes if asked to overwrite.

2. Get the d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from ENB v0.314 or
Only the d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from "WrapperVersion" folder are needed.

Drop them in your Skyrim game root folder. Not the Documents Folder.

3. Edit your SkyrimPrefs.ini located in "C:Users********DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim" to look like this:

4. Set up your ENBLOCAL.INI [MEMORY] settings according to your PC specifics. For instructions, follow the link below.

ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 is good. Set AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true if you wish to have ENB autodetect your other settings.

5. DoF is not enabled by default. If you want Dof I recommend DYNAVISION personally (linked below), or you can enable the ENB's built-in
DoF instead in-game using the config menu that pops up when you press Shift+Enter.

6. Enjoy

-Leave Internal internal at Vanilla (not cool or warm)!
-Darker Nights or Dungeons... Just choose what you like. I recommend Vanilla or Darker Nights level 1

Relighting Skyrim by NovakDalton and --JawZ-- (My Preferred Choice!)

Enhanced ENB Night Eye by scegielski (
Helpful if you need Night Eye or Vampire Vision to work with your ENB.
You JUST need EnhancedENBNightEye.esp OR EnhancedENBNightEye_withPredatorVisionPatch.esp.
You don't need the Main Files -- his patch is already in place.

Revamped Exterior Fog by Greg Manthey - gargorias

ELFX works too, if you don't want Relighting Skyrim. If you get interior light flickering
or z-fighting issues then installing with the Enhancer option normally solves this.

Realistic Lighting Overhaul works too.

Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - LITE also works with SSENB
Works with Relighting Skyrim and with ELFX, awesome but WILL make interiors/dungeons much darker!

SSENB works fine with Purity, ELFX Weathers, Vanilla or Vivid Weathers, but my personal preference is CoT with Relighting Skyrim.

It helps so much, its almost a requirement.

I personally like this DoF better than what ENB produces currently. Personal preference.

This ENB is so lightweight you can use more VRAM to make it pretty.

More Rain by Zappoo (

Splash of Rain by isoku (

Authentic Riften, Authentic Whiterun, Authentic Solitude, Authentic Windhelm
Lore and fps friendly textures By Laast (
These textures are amazing looking.

I also recomend you go to Purity's "Files/Optional Files" page and download:
Landscape Textures and Pine trees recolor and LOD trees

Skyrim Performance PLUS by VirusType2 aka Vergis (
Is very helpful if you have a slower computer but want a nice looking game.

Remove Underwater Grass and other stuff too - A Performance Mod by Cauug (
Is very helpful if you have a slower computer but want a nice looking game.

Finally, check out Ordenador User Guide and Full Config by Trollenstein (
Their settings/guide for Ordenador ( is great and using Ordenador can really
help slower PC's with VRAM. If you use Ordenador I highly recommend deactivating any high resolution SKIN TEXTURES first,
or re-installing those skin textures after using Ordenador. Just so your character remains awesome looking.

I use Fair Skin Complexion by HHaleyy ( because it looks awesome, and the
Subsurface Disabler option in the installer is great.
