I figured out HOW TO GET YOUR SOUL BACK FROM NOCTURNAL!
This was a big deal because of all the scripting. I am currently testing it however, along with some of the new features, such as turning off the option for gold giving, and fixing the quest bugs that still exist for some of you. Hopefully Version 3.0 will be out soon!
NOTE: Hotfix 2.5b released! If you uploaded within the first ten minutes of file release, please redownload as I forgot a script necessary for dialogue fix!

I just posted a hotfix which should hopefully fix the note issue and the dialogue not showing up on Loud and Clear. Note should be added as normal and dialogue should appear after you've talked to Brynjolf and asked him to tell you more about the Goldenglow job. Have also lowered speech difficulty so everyone can enjoy! If this is not working for you, let me know! A lot of testers have had it fixed for them so let me know if it helps.
As far as the issues with Honor Among Thieves, I am still working on a few things with that quest. But to prevent you from having issues, here are some essential tips:
1. Do not install after you have already started the Thieves Guild Quest Line. This apparently makes the new quest buggy. I don't know why yet but am working on it.
2. Do everything you can BEFORE becoming Guildmaster. This means doing everything up to and including getting the dirt on a certain someone and speaking to Delvin. Once you get the quest log that says "wait for the right time", you can proceed as normal with Thieves Guild Questline.
3. Once you become Guildmaster, go back to Delvin and talk to him. It's the same line of dialogue but new options will appear and you can advance!
4. No, it does NOT matter if you side with the Imperials. You can still bring Maven to heel and the dialogue works fine either way.
5. When first approaching Brynjolf, make sure to ask "Why are we doing this to Brand-Shei" if you want the more moral option. Once he gives you an answer, then you can say "okay lets get this started".
I am working on implementing this fix in the Requirements Edition too. Should be up soon!

I sadly did not get to implement the Nocturnal feature as planned. It is very complicated to script this and I'm still a newb! I will be looking to try and add this in the 3.0 edition once I figure out how to do it without breaking anything. So sorry!
That being said I am VERY excited to release this update! I added way more than I planned to.
About the Maven Option - Now you can get her to work for YOU! Putting her in jail or killing her is still an option to consider in later versions, but for now, it's enough to simply sever her hold over the guild and let her know who's boss. You can have a genuine confrontation with her and call her a b&@*$ to her face! Totally worth all the time you put into the guild questline, right?
Featuring lots of new immersive dialogue and a fully voices quest to help the people of Skyrim, you can now restore the Thieves Guild's honor! I am working on an option to have the people of Skyrim speak favorably about the guild the more good you do for them.
PLEASE send me feedback! This mod has been tested with over 250 mods! I will be uploading a compatibility list, but for now, any armor, weapon or TG Ragged Flagon overhaul should be compatible. Let me know if you have questions!
Also, I'm aware of the packaging issue with the "Thieves Guild Requirements" version. I'd recommend manual install until I can get home and fix it tonight.
hey guys I have a problem with Honor among thieves and returning the stolen papers to Suvaris Atheron. I don't have any option to deliver them to Suvaris. When I click on her there're only three options: the Nords giving you trouble, the spy one and give 50 gold. I have some Confidential papers in my inventory and I'm not sure if they are the ones. What am I doing wrong? Or is there a way to skip this quest and move on to the next? Thank you for the help ❤️
Hi, I really need help, I cannot get the quest ID code to come up despite all advice given. I am stuck having returned gems to Boli, no courier has arrived despite many many days passing and lots of couriers from other quests. I cannot advance this without the quest ID and 'showquesttargets' does not bring anything up for this quest despite it being in my journal. I had the same problem a year ago. This is a new game/charecter. Please help. Thanks.
Haven't played this in a while , but you might try sqt which is shows all targets for ongoing quests., and the quest you could try the same thing again only with speech marks instead upper commar like "showquesttargets" instead of 'showquesttargets' ? Don't forget to try shift n scroll or page up / down ?
Very neat mod, even if it does a lot of inserting a forced personality into your character for roleplayers. Its ambitious in offering brand new choices for the Thieves Guild quests, and I dont think I ran into as many bugs as others here have reported. That said, it definitely has its annoyances; having the dialogue option to just donate money to any and everyone is irritating beyond belief. The new lines and dialogue choices are very committed to your character being a Robin Hood-esque figure in Skyrim, which, while it IS the inspiration for the mod, can get annoying depending on what sort of character you're roleplaying.
I will say, however, that if you're really committed to the idea of playing a good guy thief, the mod is absolutely worth it. Otherwise, I would hold off on downloading.
Gotta say, this is the shittiest mod I've ever used. Looks great on the surface, but as soon as you actually get into the Thieves Guild quest, it starts falling apart. I don't wanna uninstall this cause I know this modder will have used the dirtiest scripts that will need manually cleaning, and I'd honestly rather just make a new save. If you want an "Ethical Thieves Guild" mod, don't choose this one. So many damn bugs that it's just not worth using this. Hope you guys find something better.
I love this mod. It's great not having half of the vendors in Riften hate me. Just wondering if it's possible to drop the Honor Among Thieves notes, since they're clogging up my inventory.
When I plant the note on Brand-Shei, the quest tracker doesn't advance, the game doesn't recognize that I've done it. Is this supposed to happen? Am I supposed to leave and let Brynjolf yell at me for leaving?
Thought this mod was pretty handy when reading the description and first using it. Then I started running into issues. First, there was no dialog option during the briefing of Loud and Clear to preserve the beehives. Next was the dialog to gift people money appearing on everyone, including people inside the thieves guild. Scanning through the comments here, I read about these glitches and more. After that, I decided to restart the game without the mod even if I have to play as a bit of a jerk to get through the quest line due to the number of issues with this mod.
I want to use this with Thieves Guild requirements. I know there's a version for that- my question is, is that version bug free? Also, I am assuming the things that are in that version are shown in the readme? I don't want to go and delete the mod thinking it doesn't do as advertised when I'm expecting things that are NOT in the Thieves Guild Requirements version.
i have the new version of nmm installed, as the original mod creator said not to bother with the old one as it's unsupported by everyone now. however, i can't install this mod with the manager at all -- it just says i don't have skyrim installed. which, technically, i don't, as i have special edition installed with the anniversary edition upgrade. do i absolutely HAVE to have the original skyrim installed, or do i have to install the mod manually??
given that this mod's creator hasn't been active since 2017 i'm definitely not expecting any reply at all from them but if anyone else sees this and knows what's going on, i'd appreciate the help

Can anyone please tell me if this mod is compatible with Opulent Thieves guild, anyone running these 2 together with no issue ?
