About this mod

Adds three new marriageable Argonian followers in Riften, Whiterun and Winterhold.

Yeah, I get Skyrim is the home province of the Nords and they hate outsiders, but I know I'm not the only one disappointed with the lack of lizard booty. Even the Khajiit get more potential followers (okay, only 1 more, but still). There are a few mods that add more Argonians, and while these were adequate, I wanted followers that looked a little more... unique.

Eventually, after a lot of messing about making some mods for my friend and fellow user, queen0fkings to try on her SSE on console, this mod was born.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF

- This mod requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn, ESPECIALLY THE FORMER.
- Shouldn't conflict with anything as far as I'm aware, it literally puts three new Argonian followers into the world. That's it. Place it wherever you normally put your followers in your load order.
- No bugs as far as testing on my game goes, if you encounter any let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it. Be aware that I'm new to this so it might take time.

THE QUESTIONS AND STUFF

What is this mod?

- A simple mod that adds three new marriageable Argonians to the world of Skyrim. Pretty straight forward.

Where can I find them?

- Riften, Winterhold and Whiterun.

OMG I STILL CAN'T FIND THEM???!???111!

- Try the taverns, or read on below.

This mod is too simple and you suck!

- This is my first mod. Cut me slack. Everyone starts somewhere.

But Argonians suck!!!1!!

- Sorry you feel that way. But if you don't like Argonians, why are you even on this mod page? :P

Can I port this?

- Absolutely, if you have the knowledge on how to do so. In fact, I encourage it. Please credit me, however.

Why do your Argonians look a little weird in your screenshots?

- That would be JazzJR's Argonian Retextures. Seriously recommend this mod, vanilla Argonians look so ugly lol. But it isn't strictly necessary to make this mod work.

THE IN DEPTH STUFF

Three new Argonians have graced Skyrim with their presence, each bringing different skills to the battle against whoever your enemy might be. All will follow you if you ask, some at a price...

Argonian #1: Reeh-Jah

Found in: The Bee and Barb, Riften
Favoured Weapon: Crossbow
Background: Reeh-Jah is an Argonian member of the Dawnguard, hanging out in Riften, making sure the city is clear of vampire threats and acting as an early warning system should vampires try and strike out at Fort Dawknguard itself. His many close encounters with vampires manifest physically as the gruesome scars they've left behind on his face.
Note: You do not need to be a member of the Dawnguard to recruit him as a follower. He appreciates anyone taking the fight to the monsters.

Argonian #2: Sheer-Meedish

Found in: The Frozen Hearth, Winterhold
Favoured Weapon: Destruction Magic
Background: Sheer-Meedish was a former student at the College of Winterhold, though always thought her talents were wasted there so left, traveling Skyrim as a mercenary instead.  She is unusual as a mercenary being that she focuses purely on magic, a trait she was mocked for at first until those doing the mocking were promptly burned alive by her fire spells. Never underestimate this short, Argonian mage.
Note: You must pay her to follow you.

Argonian #3: Basks-In-Sunlight

Found in: The Bannered Mare, Whiterun
Favoured Weapon: Ice Magic, Vampire Drain
Background: Basks-In-Sunlight is a timelessly old vampire hiding out in Whiterun. Unlike most of vampires, he is actually quite gentle natured and not evil. Due to the fact he is Argonian and already looks bestial, he can quite comfortably blend in with society and does so with ease. His multitude of scars have many different sources, some back from when he was mortal, others all the fighting he's done over the centuries and the more recent ones with people who worked out his identity. His current concern is trying to keep out of the Dawnguard's sights, for he has no qualm with them and has little desire to fight them unless forced.
Note: Unlike the other two, Basks will not commit any crime you ask him, as he is trying to lay low and keep his vampirism a secret. Being a criminal only increases the chance of having his identity exposed, and all he wants to do is live a normal life like everyone else.
