Welcome to Hot Springs of Skyrim
                                                          By Kursan

1.3 is out and its a Major Update Please read full description!

1.3 now has dependencies as it is designed to work with Frostfall 3.4!
Whether you use Frostfall or not Hot springs of Skyrim 1.3 relies on the following esm files to function:
Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and Campfire.esm. Without those three you get CTD!
Why? This latest version is for Frostfall users and if you are thinking about trying it one day I recommend to use this version and be ready for it, remember you do not need Frostfall to use this version but it requires Campfire as it is also the base for Frostfall and its heat sources.

Whats new?
There are now a total of 12 hot springs strewn across Skyrim, each a little unique and 11 of those are now also healing springs! If you sit on a bench inside the spring you will receive one of the divines blessings and cure all disease.
The other new feature which is only of true use to Frostfall users, is that the vanilla hot springs in Eastmarch now give heat!
At least several of them around the valley. Look for rock cairns that sit near a pool, (some with some without a banner) Springs marked by a cairn will have at least one or several of the billowing springs in a pool give off heat now. Some pools are also a bit deeper now to allow full immersion. The pools around the vanilla bathers with their campsite all give heat but have not been marked with a Cairn.
I have tested the springs and confirmed that they work with Frostfall but some have a greater radius than others, I welcome feedback on what could be improved.

The older 1.2 version still works if you want no dependencies but I would not want to play without Campfire anyway, check it out if you have not already.

Would really appreciate your endorsement if you enjoy and use this mod. Its a free product and giving an endorsement is a way to show you appreciate a modders work and motivation for future projects. Thank you, K.

About using LOOT for load order!
Do not rely on LOOT to always know the best load order; several people
reported crashes after adding this mod to their game and letting LOOT decide where it should go; when moved manually in the load order the
crashes stopped. It depends entirely on what else you have loaded but ifyou experience crashes then change your load order before reporting a problem with this mod, thank you!

I love hot springs and I felt there should be more in Skyrim, as simple as that; the landscape is practically begging for more places like that and the Geology certainly justifies that there would be more than just one concentrated area of hot spring activity; Skyrim is shaped by seismic activity.

Whether you agree or not with my reasoning I hope you will enjoy a dip alone or with followers, all springs are great places for a camp.

Besides Stonehills Springs by the mining camp of the same name there are now 11 other Hot Springs throughout the landscape; below are the locations listed, you can decide to stumble on them on your own with a hint from the Screen shots or search by location names.
As this mod includes Stonehills Springs do NOT load both mods!
All springs give heat now to Frostfall users!

Spring locations:

In the pond by the Nightgate Inn
In the Tundra near Greenspring Hollow
Outside Chillwind depths cave
Near a Dragon mound in the Mountains North of Markarth
Two among sunken ruins along lake Ilinalta (in my mind these springs appeared when the land subsided due to a quake and these ruins sank into the lake)
Across from Heartwood Mill in the Rift
In the Tundra along a stream at the foot of Rannveigs Fast
Inside Clearpine Pond above Dragon bridge
Along the coast North of Windhelm near an abandoned fishing camp
In the pool outside Stony creek cave (1.3 only)
All around the valley of Hot springs in Eastmarch (1.3 only)

Note that some locations have predator spawn points and I did not touch those, so you will have to clear the area before taking a bath :)
All springs have been equipped with a heat source that should be recognized by Frostfall.
This mod should be compatible with most other mods, unless the same locations are used to build on.
This mod has been cleaned with TES5Edit.

If you enjoy Hot springs you may also like my mod Highrothgar Shelters which places a hot spring on the mountain under a deep rock overhang; that mod you can use together with this one.

This mod has been cleaned and tested but you may use it at your own risk; always back up your save when trying a new mod in your load order!
Thanks to Bethesda for this wonderful game.
