Something really cool I've noticed is the amulet shifts colors in the light, I've seen shift from blue to purple. It's really cool and very pretty; thank you!

FavoredSoul really has l33t skills. I wish he was still active and creating beautiful new stuff for us to admire.

Still my go to mod whenever I start a new game after months of not playing. If I remember correctly, FavoredSoul, made this from scratch, that's amazing.

I love the screenshots but the amulet is not showing up on my character. Does anyone know how to make it compatible with ECE's YgNord race?

Does the amulet show up on your player if you make a Nord character? Alternatively you could get a human follower and give it to her to wear, just to see if it will show up on a non-custom-race body.

Do you know which body type your custom race uses, and have you installed whichever version (UNP, CBBE or Vanilla) of this mod matches that body type?

Have you tried all 3 versions of this mod to see if one of them will work with your custom race body type, whatever it is?

And finally, to answer your question " Does anyone know how to make it compatible with ECE's YgNord race?" directly, you can convert it to work with any body type using Bodyslide/Outfit Studio.

Yes it shows up on nords, but not on vanilla ygnord. I'll try bodyslide studio, thanks.

Just to be sure I haven't misled you, please be aware that if you convert the mesh to fit your custom race with Outfit Studio it may no longer fit any race BUT your custom race. So you might consider saving the converted mesh as a new mesh under a slightly different name so that you can swap back and forth whenever you want to.

I have seen your posts on several of my recently republished FavoredSoul mods, and I'm glad that you like FavoredSoul's work so much. I was not ignoring your posts, although one would have been enough, I was simply trying to find a way to answer them.

FavoredSoul is the owner and creator of this mod, and of the others I have recently re-released with his name attached to them. He has retired from modding and released all restrictions on the use of his work. Unfortunately, the Nexus file-uploading forms do not allow "do whatever you like" as a Permissions Drop-Down option, and in fact, two of the permission dropdowns are forced to "No," "Hell no" and "Under no circumstances." There is not even a "Yes" option at all. So I apologize that the permissions for his work do not reflect reality because some Nexus permission dropdowns do not allow permissive realities. On most of his mods, I have not made any modifications at all, so his last permissions apply to those mods- do whatever you like with those mods.

However, on my SSE conversions of some of his work, particularly his Ultimate Assortment-SSE, I have made several modifications and functionality enhancements, with FavoredSoul's express permission, and I do NOT consent for those files- which are partly my work- to be uploaded to any other sites because I think that the Nexus is by far the best of all the modding sites worldwide AND because some Chinese sites - like Baidu - are malware-infested and not safe to log on to.

Feel free to LINK BACK TO NEXUS (for mods I have modified) from your Chinese site if you wish to, but please do not upload my modified work to any other sites.

TL ; DR : Do whatever you want with FavoredSoul's Skyrim mod work. He has publicly, in writing, released it. Do NOT upload my modifications of his work to any other sites.

Please consider all your other identical requests to have been answered by this response. Thank you.

Oh no, not at all. He retired from modding years ago, then lost all his files and images in a server mixup and took his mods down a few weeks ago. I put them back up with his permission. He still drops by from time to time and leaves a comment on his mod pages that I'm hosting now.

Downloaded the CBBE version of this, and it's not showing up on my character.

It shows up in game and if I drop it on the ground it shows up as well. However, when I equip it it doesn't show up at all. :/

Well, in the 4 days since I republished this, the CBBE version has been downloaded 168 times with no reports of any errors before yours. Before that, it was published directly by its creator, FavoredSoul, for several years. So I'm suggesting that the problem is probably unique to your installation as opposed to a bug in the mod.

I don't have a CBBE body installed, and the UUNP-Special body that I do have installed is far too intertwined with a couple of other mods for me to even think about uninstalling it and installing a CBBE body. So I can't test it.

I do have the UNP version, and it works perfectly on my UUNP-Special body. I also have FavoredSoul's Ultimate Assortment in my SSE installation and this amulet is included in that mod and also works fine.

So I apologize, but I simply have no way of trying to duplicate the problem you're having without destroying my current 302 mods with 231 active plugins Skyrim installation, and duplicating the problem is generally the first step in any troubleshooting.

I have seen this happen before - not with this amulet but with another one from another mod - and the problem was that the amulet's body type and my character's body type were so badly mismatched that the amulet, although it was in fact equipped, was sunken into my character's neck and chest so that it was completely invisible except for a teeny tiny bit of chain showing at the back of my character's neck, and I had to put a leather helm on her to get her hair out of the way so I could even see the back of her neck to verify my suspicions.

Does the amulet show up as equipped in your inventory? (the little arrow icon indicating an item is currently equipped)

Are you sure your character is actually using a CBBE body? (sorry but it's one of the possibilities)

Try enchanting the amulet to Fortify one of the 3 primary resources- Fortify Magicka, Fortify Health or Fortify Stamina. Then open your "Active Effects" panel and compare that resource with the amulet equipped and with it not equipped- if the resource is correctly going up with the amulet equipped and down when you unequip it, this verifies that it is, in fact, being equipped- but invisible for some reason.

If CBBE is your default Skyrim body, meaning that your followers are using it as well, give the amulet to one of them and see if you can see it when they put it on. If you can, you have discovered that you are not using a CBBE body.

Get naked and try it- all armor comes with its own body mesh, and it is very common for someone who uses a CBBE body to put on a piece of armor (chest piece, usually) that comes with a UNP or 7B or Dream Girl (or whatever) body mesh so that in reality, even though you have CBBE bodies installed, when you wear that armor piece you are actually using a different body-mesh type. If you get naked and equip the amulet, and see it, you have discovered your problem- something else you have equipped is changing your body type.

Invisible textures are frequently caused when the number of polygons you are asking your PC to display exceeds its capacity to display them. So if you're running a Pentium machine with 2GB of RAM and a 15-year-old Graphics Adapter along with an ENB and 2k and 4k texture packs in your Skyrim, well, ugh. Problem found.

As a last resort, uninstall your CBBE amulet and install the Vanilla and UNP versions of this amulet (one at a time, not both together) and see if you can see it when you equip it. If you can it's another clue that your body is not matching the CBBE version of the amulet.

Other than that, I don't know how to help you. Maybe someone else will chime in. Sorry.

OMG, I'm sorry lol. It ended up being the race mod I was using, not the body itself.

Race uses a custom skeleton, so that's why it wasn't showing up. (It was the Ningheim race mod, even though I'm using the CBBE body, it wasn't showing up.)

      My apologies, I'm a noob. o(???)o

Thank you for this particular re-upload. I've always used this in my playthroughs, but while the rest of his ultimate assortment is really nice, this was always the one item I really, really wanted out of it for my character. Once again, Thank you and Favoredsoul for this re-upload as the original mod.
