What happened to the Scabbard from the Original Mod? It used to be a custom scabbard but now its just a generic one? Any chance of getting the old scabbard back?
FavoredSoul retired from modding, lost his mod files in a cloud server error and took his mods down. I contacted him and, with his explicit permission and help from some people who had archives of his mods, republished all of them I could find.
@Vyxenne. If you are interested, many of us still have the original sword from Favored Soul (v1.1) and would be able to forward it to you since you are now the go to modder for this if you are interested.
Commenting in hopes of a reply. When I look at the weapon in menus, and especially when equipped, it is really bright/shiny. Almost as bad as the infamous Dawnbreaker glow. Is there something wrong with a file or something? I don't remember the version I previously had being like this. Any advice would be appreciated.
That's kind of insulting, given that I almost always reply to every post within a few hours, which you could see if you browsed this or any of my other mod threads.
The Sword of Truth/Sword of the Seeker Is not overly bright or shiny in my game, so I'm not sure what's causing your brightness issue- maybe your ENB?
Sorry, no offense meant. I don't use any ENB or lighting. possibly something with the specular map? I'm not very sure. It's one of the only weapons I have that have such an intense shine/glow. In a cave, it's generally fine, but as soon as I go outside, it becomes almost pure white. I'd look at the maps in Nifskope/GIMP, but I have no idea what to do/look for.

fook, sorry I didn't even get an email notification, I can see why you also had forgotten about this too because no notifications lol so would have too manually check the thread post now and then for new posts.....
But yeah thanks for replying I guess; ahh fair enough...gg I guess...hahaha.....I guess it does pay off to have archives of your own mods....
Beautiful sword, love the look of it! May I ask, what programs did you use to make this? I'm trying to make my own, and having a hard time trying to figure out how to texture my sword models.
Definitely going to give this a download though, and endorse when I can. Great job!
So sorry, I just now saw this question I did not create these items- FavoredSoul did. I simply republished them (for Oldrim) and converted them (for SSE) when FavoredSoul retired and took them down.
