Might be a bit too late but just find the mod and install it from the "Install a New Mod from an Archive" setting in MO. It is installed as loose files. Just check the box and the mod is good to go.
Any plans to update this for the Special Edition Isoku, or do you recommend some other mods in lieu of this one that may come out for the Special Edition?
Brilliant! Thanks for mentioning this! It fixed my CTD. Just for anyone else reading this, place the Nifscan in your texture directory. I found loads of unsupported HD textures that needed converting.
the description of this mod says "Missing textures, weirdly colored logs/embers are not a fault of this mod. Download the fix here. " but when you click HERE, it brings you to a generic page. whats the link to the fix?
If you take a look, you've got a mod ID, just put instead the one you've got on this page. It is because Nexus have changed their website architecture.
Its mist coming off the water. Whether or not it was supposed to be mist, you need only believe its mist and it becomes mist. And thus immersion is restored.
The mechanical work being done on the water molecules is causing splashing as the water oscillates from the increased kinetic energy. This results in water being sloshed out of the troughs of the wheels, and in some molecules having the kinetic energy required to undergo a conversion from liquid form into gaseous form, thus giving an "airy" look about the wheel as the liquid water splashes and the gaseous water rises to cool off Talos' sore feet as he watches over us from his sky palace in the clouds and cools off from his morning jog. E(t) = K + U - V(Ts) or total energy as a function of time is equal to the difference between the kinetic and gravitational energy versus the volume of sweat on Talos' feet. As more sweat accumulates, the water levels in the clouds reach a point of critical mass, which when cooled by the waterwheel splash off mist creates an atmosphere vortex and thus we have thunderstorms and rain, and the portals to the dragon realm are forced open when these vortici are sufficiently strong; ie when the waterwheel output is insufficient to counterbalance the sweat level accumulated during Talos' workout routine. But I don't want to get too technical, so we'll leave it at that basic overview.
Having a really, really strange problem I can't narrow down after enabling this. All blacksmith forges are now empty without any embers in them, just straight see-through to the ground below. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod several times and it doesn't seem to fix it. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
EDIT: used Nifscan with the command line -fixdds and it seems to fix my issue
