From Bethesda's High Res Texture Pack, only the giant's wood texture was improved from 256x512 to 512x1024.
Missing textures, weirdly colored logs/embers are not a fault of this mod. Download the fix here.

Higher detailed, new textures related to embers and smoke.
To Install:
Extract "Data" folder from 7zip file and place in [...]\steamapps\common\skyrim folder.
Manual installation tutorial courtesy of dreadfear (Maya).
To Update:
Extract "Data" folder from 7zip file and place in [...]\steamapps\common\skyrim folder and overwrite everything.
To remove, delete the following:
Embers
In data\textures\effects:
In data\textures\effects:
In data\textures\clutter\woodfires:
In data\textures\clutter:
