Jango is my fav animal mout/ follower but while i feel he fits as a better "reward" for helping the jarl of Whiterun he is sadly a "glass cannon" aka extreamly powerful but also extreamly easy to kill / send spinning into the air. theres also the issue of Jango not acting as a follower if using the mod Conveniant Horses as that mod overwrites some of his scripts and just makes jango a "mount" and even leaving his "chew bone" somewhere and fast travelling means he will spawn with you so best to only "drop" his bone when staying in a player home

for those wanting a great if basic mount and follower then Jango is perfect but be aware that while powerfull jango IS a Glass Cannon and Will scare your kids when you take him home

Is there a way anyone knows to make him a little slower? He's so fast he gets air-time with even the smallest declines and I've sent him spiraling from heights more times than I'd like to admit.

The "setav speedmult" command doesn't seem to do anything.
Edit: Rather, the speedmult command makes Jango follow comfortably slower, but doesn't change how fast he is as a mount.

I fucked it up. Was running with jango on full speed from the cliff and he bounced into the air, and now hes flying and swinging everywhere across the skyrim, RIP

Hi, i have a suggestion rlated to the death of Jango, it would be great if you had to a quest to resurrect Jango, rather than just getting him back so easy, like you have to hunt down an item that will bring him back to life or something

All the mod items are there but Jango is a no show. I am running Skyrim on a mac but I am 100% sure I installed everything the correct way. Is there any reason that when I summon Jango he doesn't come? No matter what I do or if I wait he just does not appear.

I've been playing with this mod for a while and regretfully had to uninstall. The main problem is, this pet is just ridiculously overpowered and most enemies are very little of a challenge with him. His resistance and hp regeneration are also insane and he pretty much never dies. On top of that, in order for him to stop following you, you have to use a spell, which a) is annoying in itself, b) has a lasting visual effect which I also don't like. It would be so much better if he behaved like a horse and automatically return to stables instead of following you everywhere. This would be a great mod if the balancing and following mechanics were fixed.

I'm a Stormcloak and all Stormcloak soldiers seem to despise Jango and keep attacking him... I had to disable the mod

Right, I didn't have that before but I do now, you have to add him to the stormcloak faction via console (click on him and type addfac 2bf9b 1).
