"Why?"
Tired of deciding between fancy hair mods or the safety of a helmet, I decided to make circlets with armor rating to match the helmet equivalent.

"But there is already a circlets mod"

I had seen other mods on the nexus that did something similar, but the settings of the circlets were not to my liking, or they where made with non vanilla resources that I did not like. The best one I have seen is JS Armored Circlets, but i didn't want the circlets models and textures, and some people had commented on how they didn't apply to Ordinator perks, such as complete set bonuses.

"Armored circlets are not realistic"

I also made a 1/2 armor version and a 1/4 armor version for those who feel full protection is unrealistic. If even a fraction of armor is too unrealistic, this mod is not for you.

Whats in this mod?
Circlets For The Win adds all 10 variations of the vanilla Circlets to 13 armor tiers, resulting in 130 new circlets!
note: this mod does not alter the vanilla circlets themselves, it just reuses the models and textures. no vanilla circlets have been replaced.

The Circlets have been added to the following Armor sets:

Heavy
Iron
Steel
Dwarven
Orcish
Ebony
Daedric
Dragonplate
Stalhrim

Light
Scaled
Elven
Glass
Dragonscale
Stalhrim

The circlets all have unique crafting recipes, can be improved at a workbench, and can be smelted at the smelter.
The circlets have been added to some loot lists, so there is a possibility to find them in the world but it is uncommon.

The crafting recipe for each circlet requires 2 ingots of the armor tier it belongs to, either an iron or silver ingot for structure and 1 ingot to dictate the color of the circlet, and a flawless gem to match.

Example recipe: dwarven jade and emerald circlet - 2 dwarven metal ingots, 1 iron ingot, 1 refined malachite, and 1 flawless emerald.
Tempering at a workbench requires 1 ingot to match the armor tier. example: dwarven circlet needs dwarven metal ingot to upgrade.

The circlets will not appear in the crafting list at the forge unless you have a Flawless Emerald, Ruby or Sapphire, this is to keep forge list clutter down.

Compatibility
Fully compatible with Ars Metallica, all circlets are flagged to give smithing experience at the applicable areas.
Fully compatible with Ordinator, all circlets are flagged to give heavy or light armor bonuses as well as complete set bonuses.
Compatibility with other circlet mods unknown at this time. If you find an incompatible mod let me know in the comments.
