"Modular" aims to include as many individual parts of Skyrim armor and clothing pieces - belts, pants, sleeves, armor pieces, pouches - and offer them free for anyone to mix and match as they please.

Users only have to credit this project when making a new outfit, and not individual contributors. The goal is more creativity, more sharing, and less bureaucracy!

Anyone is free to contribute to this project if they have the skill to do so, and your work will be highly appreciated, and - of course - fully credited!

If you would like to contribute, send me a PM. The more separate pieces we have available, the better. The only requirement is that the assets are taken from either vanilla Skyrim, or from a third-party that has given explicit consent to having their assets being re-purposed in this fashion.

Since this resource is meant to facilitate as many different kinds of outfit designs as possible, it's a good idea - if you want to contribute - to think of the mesh you're working on from the perspective of "can this be tweaked so it fits into more configurations?". For example, a lot of vanilla clothing are made of very thin meshes, that clip easily.
But by adding a few inches of curved space to the end parts, you can transform a very finicky, gender-specific mesh into one that can fit a range of different concepts, and can be used by both genders. I have included a few images in the gallery that hopefully will inspire this line of thinking.

Generally, let the philosophy of "Lego" be your guiding principle. As many possible configurations as possible, using assets available to everyone.
