Has anyone tried this out in SSE? I put a request in on the SSE Mod Request forums, but didn't get any response. I don't have Skyrim installed right now to test it out. If I don't get any replies, I'll give it a shot next time since SKSE is mostly working for SSE now.

EDIT: Ported it myself and it seems to be working perfectly. I converted the esp using the Creation Kit and just dropped the pex file into the proper folder for SKSE.

Hello thetroc! Do you still have those files? I would like to recover this mod now that I installed the Special Edition.

There was other comment in SSE Dynamic Timescale mod, which is a must have. I'm trying this now. Looks dope.

Does the timescale go back to vanilla default (20) at the end of conversations or does it go back to the timescale you set in any other mod or by the "set timescale to xx" command ?

I always thought that the best way to handle time was for the timescale to slow down whenever you were doing anything other than traveling - ie engage in combat, engage in dialogue, using a crafting item, etc. This solves one of those problems, good job.

Why haven't I noticed this before!! This is just what I need to stop Vilja's seemingly endless conversations from wasting half a day of game time. "Can I talk to you for a moment" need no longer cause me to have to put off travelling somewhere till the next day just because she's such a chatterbox (yes I know I can tell her not to talk so much but that kinda defeats the point of having a companion with such a great personality).

I usually use this kind of mods, to make conversation to "feel" longer, so it pass more time on conversations, like If the character was talking a lot of time with the other character

If that is the case, you should check out my other mod Don't Push Me While I'm Talking.

      Thanks I'll take a look!

Not sure if you plan to add more features but any chance of a mod that changes the camera while your are in dialogue?
I mostly play on third person and kind of sucks that the PC stays in the front of the NPC when in dialogue.

There was a mod like that but the autor remove it since there was some bugs.

When I was working on Better Free Camera I had add code to prevent allowing someone going into free camera mode while in dialogue because it would break the game. I have a feeling that mod author removed his mod because he experienced the same problem. Basically messing around with the camera mode in Skyrim while in dialogue is a bad idea with how the engine works.

After testing it I can say this mod is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again, utopium! Now I can take my time talking to the people of Skyrim without being afraid of dying of inanition

Am I right: it's the same as I use the console command, but it scales the time automatically while in dialogue menu?

Yup. Basically the rest of your game will have a normal timescale but whenever you start a dialogue with an NPC the timescale will be changed for the duration of that conversation to the one configured in the MCM menu.

Pretty useful - I was sometimes killed (using spawn mod) while in a dialogue - 5 Necromancers spawned in - kaboom - see you in Valhalla

Not sure this will really help too much for that case if you have a really long conversation. This just slows things down, it doesn't stop time. Eventually those necromancers will still spawn.

Well, these are random generated spawns, and long-time-chats increase the probability for an event. So its an useful tool you created.

P.S.: Is it possible to create such a widget, which allows to skip the endless-boring-daedraquest dialogues? I got crazy while Molag is talking to me for the 732th time.... You know, what I mean? Endless blah blah blah
